Here, Ladies and Gentlemen is what we know.

Dino Charge will premiere in Feb 2015
Dino Charge doesn't look to have any elements from Toukomei Sentai Go-Busters, instead will be Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger alone. (Unlike Megaforce which is a mash of Goseiger and Gokaiger)
The Beast Batteries (Zyudeninchi) are now Dino Prisms.
And a Mysterious Alien Bounty Hunter is coming to steal them away.

On the prisms thing, the report said that they were looking for the prisms, so how could they be looking for something they already have? I'm leaning more towards the tears of Bragigas which will unlock Bragigas.

I will be really surprised if there isn't a new morpher. I don't think Saban wants their heroes carrying guns around everywhere - especially if they're teenagers again.

The cast will be the first 5 people who auditioned for the series, thus unfortunately continuing the trend of cardboard cutout "character" calamities.

That's fine. Saban has a really good track record with original morphers.

But on topic, Im just wantin to know what the hell the Gaburevolver is gonna be.

Dino Revolvers? Probally DinoBlasters.

Y'see, I assumed this at first as well. But if they really have skipped Go-Busters I can only assume it's because the collectable gimmick has served them so well. As such they need the Revolvers to keep in the batteries and I don't really see how they're gonna get around that as it's central the footage.

BUT THEN the batteries which are nowhere to be seen on the poster at all when I'm pretty sure most of the Kyoryuger marketing material was the Rangers holding their batteries up to the camera. And I've been wrong about everything else so far.

Maybe each of them will have a new American Only Morpher like Utchy's in Kyoryuger. A wrist mounted thing you insert the Battery/Prism into. It works well for Saban. That's ten different Morphers for people to collect, more money for them.

There are lots of things they can do. But "they can do" is the point I'm trying to make here. "Brave in!" was a BIG part of how the Kyoryuger's fought, it'd be like taking the Tensouder's out of Goseiger, it isn't like they'd just have to reshoot the morphing, they'd have to reshoot entire chunks of fight footage as well and come on...this is saban.

I'm thinking that the MoBuckles will be co-opted into being cheap $15 Morphers rendering the Gaburevolvers the high quality $30 role play toy.

And my guess is that the Zyudenchi are just housings for the crystals.

Not really. They just have to change how they Morph. They can still use the guns in battle and such, they're still using the Gokai Blasters in Super Mega Force. They can still Brave In, just change how.

Yeah but then it comes back to the reason why this might not be marketable in America, as it involves collecting projectiles to shoot out of a gun. They are basically magic bullets, and we know it's silly and fun but the US is the place that deemed that Spider-Man could never punch anyone.

I think you're over thinking the concept.

I still hold to my theory that the GoBuster suits will be used for a rival team. Like in a similar role as the Silver Guardians in Time Force. I expect I'll be proven wrong, but I really hope I'm not.

Them being batteries in shape might work to get around that.

• No teenagers
• No remix of Mighty Morpin/Samurai/Megaforce theme
• Candelira
• Yayori like character

I know we can tell the difference, but the US thinks someone who's just been switched off has the same mental capacity as children do. Well from all regards their soccer mums actually DO. So I'm still not sure how well this'll go down, unless they like...edit it so it's all entirely energy based. America doesn't seem to mind if people get shot with fucking lasers, for some reason.

And yeah maybe I'm over thinking it, but stuff like this is really all we've got to go on.

While it won't be the next season here, it said on the Power Rangers Wiki that GoBusters won't entirely be ignored and that there WILL be some elements adapted into Dino Charge.

And she has to be as she is in Kyoryuger too. I demand goth Candi.

I'm assuming the suit will be remade like Vancuria was, given that so much of her suit is an S&M suit.

And if their lasers, couldn't they BS it and say the lasers are powered by the prism battery thingies?

Unless Saban's going to just edit the footage of them into lens flares to make it resemble irradiating crystals of Dino Power.

Yeah I suppose that works - like when that monster in SPD said 'I love blowing up cough EMPTY cough buildings!'

Although there were no "prisms" in Kyoryuger or Go-Busters so I honestly have no idea what these things might turn out to be.

Not to mention the batteries look nothing like a prism in the first place.

Will they accept a 16-year-old whose only acting experience is in homemade movies and Drama classes? Because I want to be the Gold Ranger.

The whole thing is really weird. The whole plot sounds nothing like either shows either.

I'm sorry, Saban is only interested in newcomers with no acting experience. They wish to utilize Power Rangers as an acting school/class of sorts.

Which is why I keep suggesting that the prisms are housed in the batteries. Like the containers plutonium rods are held in, except much smaller and Mesozoic.

My prediction is that the Chaos is the "bounty hunter" and that their goal is to steal the prisms (now batteries) rather then summon Deboss, instead of a whole new villain. The evil KyoryuGold plot-line could be adapted by explaining that he has successfully stolen one of the prisms.

Doesn't Chaos look like an evil statue of liberty though? I dunno if Saban would be okay with that...

I think you be surprised what passes in the US after this is all over. We are talking about a franchise known for pushing the cheap option regardless of being a really feckin rich company and employing a sentai fan boy who finds it really hard to break away from the source material.

You all know It'll pass as is, be a direct mmpr-ized translation like the good old day,s with less care for the children's intelligence and to get around the revolver morph and evil statue of liberty? Bs an excuse like they bs'd pirates out of super megaforce.

But those are important aspects to discuss when thinking of adaptations? The context of a Japanese story to an American market. If you avoid that then any hope of discussion is lost and all we're left with is shallow gushing.
