- Only 60 total Ranger Keys planned for retail
- No "Blind Bag" Ranger Keys, which were initially planned

It sucks I wont get a full team of Jungle Fury, or even a US version of Wolf ranger possibly, but oh well. Hopefully we eventually get them.

I voted "bad news but understand why" ... for starters, this line is only meant to survive for 12 months, if even that. You have the premiere wave (already out), the second wave (coming out now), and you have the final "Fall" wave, which will release for the holidays.

You just don't have the ability to release 100+ keys. Blind bags probably wouldn't sell to anyone but collectors, so it's not very profitable.

Bandai knows they have a collector base - that's why we get the Legacy Collection. The Super Megaforce has always been intended for kids and the wallets of every child's parent.

Did you know that I held off on getting Gekiranger keys because I assumed I could pick up the American counterparts. Since I only intended on displaying them, I figured the American keys would be better since they're larger and would be more easily visible.

All joking aside I can understand their decision. If they do want to do this then maybe they can create a limited run and sell them direct (on amazon or ebay).

I really don't get this newes. There seems to be no real reason for theme not to realise more keys. Also if that 60 is a hard Number there is no way to atleast get a representation of every team out in blind packs without total not doing any of the 6th Rangers. My only hope is a special Online exclusive item that if has not all the keys that represent Rangers but the ones we won't see at retail.

Well I understand why, but it is still disappointing I mean I'll still get the keys and what not and have them on my desk or storage(depending on which ones I like or not).

But hey seeing 100+ keys would be quite a lot, and I don't think parents would want their kids with that many.

But as long as we get Silver's key I'm good. :)

I'm only collecting BOJ keys so this doesn't really hit me. But it's just like I said in the beginning, there's an apparent lack of commitment to make female keys so that was always going to ruin completing teams. They only made the ones they had too.

Now limiting all the keys to 60 total? I can get that. This line is for kids and isn't going to continue being produced for years on end like the BOJ Gokaiger keys.

It's a real shame that we won't get all of the Rangers we can out of this line, especially considering I like the tiny spring-loaded keys. However, I'm not too worked up about it since I'd already resigned myself to not being able to afford all of the keys I wanted in the first place. As it stands, I'm glad for the ones we are getting, but this line direly needed more females.

I understand the logic behind it, but it sucks that we won't be able to get a U.S. collection of our rangers. Oh well, now I know for a fact to not waste my money on the Legendary Morphed or any of the keys and just focus on getting the Gokaiger keys for the teams I want.

Figures we only get double digits for Ranger Keys. Since PR has only been with us for 20 something years it makes sense from a marketing standpoint to only release Keys that boys wants.

My issue with this is this: Why are American boys so against female heroes? Not being a man doesn't make you weaker than anyone else. How nostalgia blind is Saban?

I really don't think it's American boys to blame. Just that BoA is too afraid to take risks.

It's not even just BoA, most American toy/entertainment companies still operate under the fallacy that boys can't like girl characters and vice versa. It is a shame, but also a misstep on the BoA marketing department. I realize that Power Rangers is considered a boys line first, but isn't this the same company, along with Saban, that has reversed the gender on numerous ranger characters?

It's a shame. "Oh, Scarlet didn't sell in the GI Joe line 30 years ago. Boys will never buy toys of female characters!" seems to be the mentality they've stuck with...

As for the gender of characters changing, it's clear that Saban wants more female characters, but it's Bandai who's too afraid to market them.

Will we at least get the sixth ranger keys like Zeo Gold and Gokai Silver?

Anyways, BoA has been losing my money at every turn this year and this is the final nail in the coffin. I wanted to give you money Bandai of America, but you done fucked it up. I'm out.

The keys looked awful anyway and the difference in price with the much better BOJ DX ones is small enough that I thought the BOA were a waste of money anyway. I'm indifferent.

But, less cynically, we could sort of tell this would happen. BOA were clearly hesitant to give any girls and the idea of BOA pulling off all of the keys was a bit of a long-shot. I feel bad for the people that actually wanted the keys though.

At this point it's a non factor.I kind of knew they wouldn't make all of them because there were so many,so I'm looking forward to the Dino Prisms.There is what,23?

They'll come out with them,and more then likely be the same quality as BoJ,only smaller.

I can't the clip i was actually looking for as my reaction but if you've seen this episode you know the scene and that's how i feel right now.

All I wanted was 1 or 2 keys. I'm not paying 9 dollars for 3 Time Ranger keys.

Okay so after counting all the keys that shown on the back of the Legendary Megazord box I got to 42 keys in total. So what exactly are the remaining 18 going to be? Well I have a theory. There are in total 17 sixth rangers (that's including Titanium and RPM Silver) and then there's the Gokai Silver Gold Mode key which brings it up to 18. Add it all together and you get 60 in total. Does this all sound reasonable to you guys or have I gone nuts?

Sounds about right. The sixth ranger keys are crucial to the silver SMF ranger's presence both show and toy wise.

So long as we get the sixth rangers I'm good... Still sucks that we won't get all 108 (that how rangers there are?) though. :(

Well I'd think that they'd have to release all the reds at least right?
So possibly take Titanium, and possibly not count the gold mode key as a ranger key.

I'd say if they were going to do all Reds, they'd have put Reds in role play stuff like the Cannon rather then random keys like Lightspeed Blue.

As long as I get myself a Zeo Gold key, I don't care what happens. :lol

Im not surprised in all honesty. While it would be nice to get every ranger key here for Super Megaforce i can honestly see why they wouldnt wanna do one for every ranger.

The thing that irks me though, as of now only two key packs have female ranger keys. Those two packs are Zeo, and Ninja storm. How, if at all do you guys think they will release Super Megaforce Yellow and Pink?

Like i said though, im not surprised by this. Im actually on a toy buying hiatus and have had to pass up on the keys several times. At least the keys are selling well as of now.... Can't Seem to find anymore morphers or any keys at my local Toysrus or Target.

I believe the Yellow and Pink keys will come in a pack with Metallic Red.

Female Red Samurai comes with the Super Mega Cannon. Not LR Blue.

LightSpeed Rescue Blue was displayed with it at the Toyfair, did that get proven as a mistake?

EDIT: Ok, saw her in the official pics.

Official pictures showed Female Red Samurai coming in the 3-pack with Green and Blue too and the real set comes Male Red Samurai. Don't trust them to get these right.

I voted "This is HORRIBLE news! I'm so mad!", which isn't really correct, but matches my opinion closest.

I don't like the Super Mega Morpher, and my Mobirates will be arriving any day, so this has no effect on my directly. Still, I think it's pretty crappy that there will be kids who like Super Megaforce, but aren't able to get their favorite team in key form.

I was going to collect them... but held out on purchasing any until there was a solid answer on if we would receive a key for every ranger.

Le Sigh, I guess I'll buy the Gokaiger ones.
