Without having to quest to find all of the keys (since they are all at the command center already) this season seems to be sort of forced into doing original story lines. Im loving this preview and cat wait for the full episode.

Honestly I think the best actors on this show are Jake and Gia.

Why wouldn't they have a Legendary Ranger Database? They could've used the one used by Hayley in Dino Thunder. Not to mention Tensou, he could've hacked computer systems and learned about the other Rangers. Or used the Database left behind by Zordon before his death. Or a combination of all three.

Seems like an easy way to cut all the introduction episodes.

It's an alright short clip, it could have been better. I hope this series doesn't go downhill after the first episode really impressed me to some degree.

Seems like a lame way to cut a 51 episode series down to 20 to me. They have them, there's no quest or anything for grand powers like Gokaiger. It's just done already. Yet again this show proves to me how pathetic it is. Without the quest for more keys/grand powers and or mecha, what the hell is the point of this show? Literally nothing drives it.

Sometimes I think people confuse 'pretty' for 'acting'. I'm guilty as heck of doing it, so I'm not throwing stones here. Just not in this case. The cast is awful.

-Hasn't been revealed, but I think its a safe bet there'll be a Halloween and a Christmas clip show.

I think instead of adapting the Magiranger episode (Episode 3 of Gokaiger), Gosei will tell them the Mystic Dragon is a new power in Episode 3 of Super Megaforce as Magi Gokaioh was used in the episode that Episode 3 is adapting.

Interestingly enough, the only Yellow spotlight episode being adapted has swapped her to Blue. Come to think of it, has Gia ever had a spotlight episode? There's also no Red spotlights being adapted. Every Basco episode has also been cut unless somehow he's in the Silver Ranger two parter. The Ninja Storm episode has been cut, so Fuuraimaru/Mini Zord will likely be treated as a new thing in Super Megaforce Episode 13, probably because the Hurricaneger two-parter wasn't very adaption friendly, with a lot of Japanese culture jokes and unmorphed scenes/fights with the Hurricanegers.

Power Rangers seasons that had sentai-equivalent tributes in Gokaiger that aren't being adapted include Zeo, In Space, Lost Galaxy, Lightspeed Rescue, Time Force, Ninja Storm, Mystic Force and Operation Overdrive.

So it seems Samurai, Jungle Fury, RPM and Wild Force are the only ones getting tributes outside of the final episode going by the episode descriptions. SPD, Dino Thunder and Turbo episodes are being adapted, but going by the episode descriptions, they're no longer tributes. (The Carranger episode wouldn't have worked for Turbo anyway)

I hate to be the hater, but I feel the same. It's more generic each time I see more footage. They've drained all the life and personality out of the source footage to create this thing we have now.

To be honest, I kinda wished they would skip Gokaiger and just adapted the rest of Goseiger. Sure, we wouldn't get an American Mobirates or Ranger Keys, but at least Bandai of America wouldn't have screwed with us as far as giving us only 60 keys.

It's made worse for me, since Gokaiger is my favorite Sentai, and seeing adapted into this doesn't help things.

Goseiger's adaptation still pains me. Not just on the merit of loving Goseiger but as far as shows generally go, it's pretty much the perfect show for adaptation. Yeah there is the angel motif, which is gonna be a hurdle. But it had stunning action, loads of villains, loads of zords, the card gimmick. You could have so easily built a great show, out of so much great usable footage and we got:

"You know Troy, cool as ice!"
"Do you see any tears!"
"Robots will out live all species."

I remember watching Goseiger originally and thinking, damn those cockpits look they were straight up made for a Power Rangers adaptation. That show has the perfect feel to have been a 20th anniversary show completely on it's own without Gokaiger.

The colors match up with Zyu/MMPR. Some of the weapons do too (red sword, black axe). Great one ranger perspective from cockpits of individual machines. Combined form cockpits that feel big and look polished. It just seemed to have enough going for it that I could have seen an entire adaptation of it alone that would work. But alas we didn't get that. Goseiger oddly share some elements with Zyu/MMPR that would have totally worked better across a 40 ish episode format. Not 20.

There are lots of aspects in Goseiger which feel like call backs to the franchise, even without that the regal designs of the Goseiger's could easily be the Legacy Powers given to the greatest Ranger team or whatever faff. But oh well.
