All aboard! I'm liking this show more and more after a couple more watches. I've heard some past series start strong then hit a slump. Hope TQG picks up steam and keeps rolling.

I gave up in the end, the livestream was buggy as fuck. The sub'll be out in a couple of days, it wasn't worth battling frustration for something I couldn't follow anyway.

Crazy great episode! Loved it from beginning to end.

Very suprisingly, I'm still more or less enjoying the series (even just visually since I don't speak a lick of Japanese). The giant-size fights have both been pretty underwhelming so far, though. The only other major complaint I have is I hope the Pink imagining things gets forgotten fairly soon.

I don't know why Pinks rub me wrong so much, I'm really disliking Houka in the Magiranger LWW, too.

I liked Houka, she was my third favorite out of the Magirangers, with Tsubasa as my all-time favorite. There should be more Houka lovers in this world. :(

Sorry. For me Houka is down the list with Makito. Tsubasa is totally awesome though.

Dear god the train battle. That was excellent, silly, and awesome. This show just has that mix of elements I've been aching for in sentai for a long time.

I like Houka too. She's one of my fav Pinks out there, right after Eri and Kagura ^^


More dialogue-heavy and slightly darker than episode one. Seemed good from what I understood. And dat humor xDDD

And yay, next week is Kagura character ep!

I love Kagura too, she seems full of energy and yet can hold her own against the Shadow Train line.

That train battle was pretty cool. Not a big fan of the monster's design this time around. Reminds me a lot of the first Gokaiger monster.

Glad green got more focus though, he was the only one I felt that didn't make an impression at all in the first episode.

I might actually be starting to warm up to Kagura, sure she just itched me the wrong way, but she's starting to grow on me. But, she definitely cannot top Mio, she is so beautiful! Just like a darling Houka :lol

I have to agree that the fight on the train was pretty awesome. It was nice that Green was involved in that, too. I still harbor a tiny bit of fear that we'll get another super perfect Red who doesn't really seem to need the rest of the team. Of course I swore I wasn't going to buy any of the toys, but the more I watch the more I'm starting to waver.

Me and my brother loved the awesome train fight with Right and that Shadow monster. Also, awesome to see Hikari join in to help fight that monster. :D

That's because Houka's awful.

I'm still on the fence about Kagura. If she is getting a focus episode next week that will probably decide it for me.

Haha yep. Considering Riria made her first appearance in Goseiger, that sorta gives it that nice feeling that she can be a whole different person and yet still be very beautiful.

Umeko is another one of my favorite pinks actually. But I never really liked Eri, monkey-face girly-girl. :lolol

Do not get me started on Eri.

Seriously, are we on that level again? Picking on actors because of their looks? Besides, Eri is pretty damn cute. Tastes are different.

How did we get to Umeko anyway? This doesnt belong to the topic, but I liked her too, she was the type of Pink that I love most, which is the same category as Houka, Eri and Kagura.

Anyway, about getting the discussion back to Toqger?

Well, to be fair, if you can LIKE someone based on nothing but their looks, couldn't you also dislike them for the same reason?

I honestly didn't like TOQ-5 because of her looks before the show started, but I gave it a try. Her looks have grown on me, but her character's personality was the first thing I warmed to.

You can and its both shallow as all hell. Liking a Character/Person purely becuase they look good is exactly as dumb as disliking someone because there looks dont fit your standards.

As Convoy said, it's just shallow and personally, I HATE it when people like or dislike someone based on their looks, due to personal experience.

Oh man. I got some real lightspeed rescue feels form the use of the trains. I hope they keep using them for more than transport. Also Den-O softcover Please!
