Did you ever think....? (SPOILERS)
DO NOT READ THIS THREAD IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN EPISODE 20 OF KAMEN RIDER GAIM.
. . . . . . . . . . Seriously. Last chance. . . . . . . . . . . . . Okay! Considering all the events leading up to the latest episode, with Gaim and Baron looking more and more to be on the same team, did you ever think the end result would be what they're hinting at - which is Gaim, Ryugen, and Zangetsu against Baron, Sigurd, Duke, and Marika? With Bravo, Gridon, and Knuckle as free agents, more or less? I honestly didn't see it coming. I thought Baron was played up as the opposite of Gaim only for it to be revealed he's not the greater enemy - I didn't expect it to come full circle and now reveal that Baron *IS* the greater enemy, and Gaim will have to face off against Baron in order to prevent Hellheim from conquering the Earth. Just crazy. CRAZY I TELL YOU. Love this show. NOTE: Yes, I know a lot is speculation. However, with Baron stating that he'd rather let Helheim invade the Earth in order to wipe out the weak, and having Duke, Sigurd, and Marika basically say they are of the same mind ... and for Zangetsu and Gaim to finally come to an understanding and be, seemingly, on the same side? That's like taking the secondary rider (Baron) who is almost always the anti-hero ally and turning him in to the villain, and taking the villain (Zangetsu) and turning him in to the anti-hero. Granted - Baron may turn down the offer next ep. But it seems doubtful, as they all want the same thing. |
I don't know if I'd call the nuts and the Durian "free agents". Bravo maybe, but Knuckle seems to be on Gaim's side, though his focus has been pretty minuscule. Junouichi would probably just join the strongest team, if he could get away from Bravo.
Though really, how do we know Baron will just join the Energy Riders? How do we know Micchi will just stay with Takatora? How do we know anything about Knuckle? |
This was one of the greatest surprises I've seen from the show so far.
VERY interested to see where it goes. If in fact it isn't an act and Kaitou is seriously going through with this, then my hat will eternally be off to Urobutchi. |
This makes a whole lot of since.
|
I am officially done trying to guess where this show will go.
|
I really wonder about Micchi's loyalty. The guy seems as dark as Kaito. Knuckle, I feel like he will just join Kouta. Bravo and Gridon, they can get are by Invess for all I care. But I do think the energy riders are gonna turn out to be something
|
Ya we now know to just stop the speculations and just see where it goes from here.

Can you see this future episode?
Baron's Energy Arms against Gaim's Energy Arms. Gaim is losing. But before Baron can do the final blow, a giant fist knocks him to the ground. It's Knuckle. He gives a speech to Baron - "How can you do this? How can you turn on everyone you knew, everyone who cared about you?" "Such an emotion is a sign of weakness - you're just as weak as this pathetic loser." And Kaito kills Zack, his second in command dance partner. Gaim, enraged, unlocks the Kachidoki Lock Seed (...somehow). Turns in to Kachidoki Arms, beats the snot of Baron, but lets him live. "Destroying you will only bring you what you want. I want you to live, to see me ruin your plans and to save the world". So much potential! |

I also want to see how Baron gets his Energy form seeing as he's pretty buddy buddy with most of the Energy Rider crew these days, but that could change very soon. |

I still wanna see Dark Micchy!!

I hope to God that Zack doesn't die, I love my Knuckleman! Still sounds like good ideas though. |
And all Kouta wanted to do was to understand what it meant to be an adult. Now he has Kaito turning his back on humanity and him, not to mention Mai. He has Micchy, though he doesn't yet, basically saying that he'd betray even Kouta to achieve his goals. And the only person it seems he can trust is the man who nearly killed him when they first met, killed Hase, and was seemingly the series' big bad.
I love this show! Never saw Takatora becoming, for all intents and purposes, a good guy. Yes, he does horrible things. But he has to because if he doesn't then Zawame City and the rest of the world will become Helheim. And Kouta becoming allies with him might explain how he gains access to everyone else's Energy Lockseed too. I don't see it happening like you do Kick. I see him getting the Kachidoki Arms, beating the Energy Riders, sans Zangetsu, and Baron and then saying "No. You're going to watch me, Kaito. You're going to watch me save the world, you're going to watch me make sure no one else dies, no one else ends up like Yuuya or Hase-Chan! I'm going to save everyone from Helheim!" Along those lines. I just see Kouta swearing, vowing, that no one else dies. No more Hase's, no more Yuuya's. (Quoting The Doctor to Rose Tyler) "Just this once, Everybody Lives!" |

I do have this feeling that the Urobutcher will strike again. I don't know who or when but it will happen.

Something tells me, no matter what happens, we will all think next years Rider is crap because of the awesome and darkness that is Gaim. :lol

There is one fear that I have about Gaim in all honesty... With the pace it's going, there's a chance it could loose momentum somewhere down the line and drag a bit in the later episodes.
|
I do have that fear myself, I really dont want what has been a great series, to just crash and burn just a few episodes short.

I don't know why...but after that episode I almost got a...Gundam vibe from the story...Baron would be in the Red mecha, Gaim, well the Gundam...and all the others just the various suits...especially with the character dynamics...

I'm not gonna say I predicted Baron being on Team Sid/Ryoma/Yoko but I will say that I always thought that Baron being identified as the secondary Rider of Gaim was a little weird since, yeah, Baron does help out Gaim when he feels like, Ryugen is definitely Gaim's primary ally.
But then again, the only one in this entire show who doesn't seem like a chronic traitor is Gaim, so does Gaim even really have a secondary Rider? |

I highly doubt Urobuchi is staying on for another year, given that an anime series he wrote has been greenlit for a second series.
