Hmmmm? no say of The Wild Force Rangers. I hope they show the other Zords & Princess Shayla in some way. I hope it's not they just go up there take the Zord & go. Wild Force needs to play some small part in this ep.

Considering how they've been getting Zords so far, I don't know that I'd get my hopes up.

I can't take the line. "A floating island in the shape of a turtle" seriously.

I'm impressed that they actually ARE going to Animaria, that's pretty awesome, I was worried they'd cut it out completely.

Although... Something tells me this may lead to Jetman footage being used.

This episode will feature footage from Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger Episode 09.

Gokaiger Henshins
- Turboranger (this is NOT the Sentai version of Power Rangers Turbo)
- Jetman
- Gaoranger (Power Rangers Wild Force)

The story is as follows:

- The Gokaigers discover a flying island shaped like a turtle. When they arrive, the Zangyack Empire is already there, and they see the GaoLion in the distance. They henshin to Turborangers to fight, and the GaoLion knocks around just about everyone. Everyone is then pushed off the island, and the Gokaigers change in to Jetman to land safely, though Ahim (Pink Ranger) hurts her ankle.

The Pink and Green Ranger end up meeting an animal doctor (a vet!), who ends up being the Red Gaoranger. They rejoin the others and henshin to the GaoRangers to defeat the monster. Once the monster grows, they unlock the ultimate powers of the Gaorangers, and are able to summon the GaoLion to assist them in battle.

Gosei sends the Power Rangers to the Animariam to find the Red Lion Zord. It's wild and untamed, but Emma feels a connection to it. The episode ends up being more of an Emma focus episode. This is also our best chance to see more "NEW POWERS" (aka Super Sentai suits) as there is little usable footage until the end of the episode.

Yay! Jetman!

I'm actually looking forward to this episode. Despite the awesome sky battle as the Jetman, this was the most "meh" tribute episode of Gokaiger, I still loved it, but it wasn't my favourite. I'm looking forward to seeing how Super Megaforce will adapt it. I may be getting my hopes up too high, but I think we might get wite a lot of original footage. I am also so glad they're not hand-waving the introduction of Gaolion like the did the last two Grand Powers.

Still, this is Megaforce. Odds are on it being awful.

I really hope we don't get the Jetman suits. It'd be pretty cool if they edited the Jetman scenes to them morphing to In Space and using those galaxy glider things to fly away from the Animarium.

But no, we're most likely getting NEW POWERS from planet Eaglos-9 or something.

The following episode (NEXT weekend) will feature the return of Alex Heartman to the show ... aka Jayden, the Red Samurai Power Ranger.

EDIT: I think. I know that we get both Jayden (Power Rangers Samurai) and Casey (Power Rangers Jungle Fury) in back to back episodes, and then the Silver Ranger appears.

There could be new footage shot here perhaps...

That's pretty exciting.

So for those on the fence on Super Megaforce, give it till the end of the Silver Ranger appearing saga (three episodes .... first episode is appearance, second episode is story filler about his past, and third episode is the first appearance of his "Gold Mode" power up).

If you still hate it by then, there's no turning back, as we'll be halfway through the season at that point.

I'm still wondering why Gosei is there still? I know he's the mentor for the team, but he is the worst of them all. I mean he's Zordon's apprentice for god's sake. I'm already set on wanting Tensou to just completely die.

Come the fuck on couldn't you at least say it right. Fuck this show.

Oh cool, Red Lion is back!

...Oh crap, he's in Super Megaforce. Unless it's written by Jason Smith, RUN FOR YOUR LIFE, RED LION! They couldn't even be bothered to pronounce Animaria right, you have no chance of escaping with your dignity!

Oooooh, don't count on that ever happening. That piece-o crap is getting an entire episode dedicated to him. Something about being struck with lightning and getting amnesia or whatever they have planned

Because Jason Smith did so well introducing the Mystic Dragon...

Well, the Mystic Dragon wasn't as important to the plot of the episode...oh, it hurts to say that, but it's true. It just showed up out of nowhere like the Delta Runner did and that's it.

At least the Red Lion looks like it'll have to be earned.

But the Mystic Dragon should have been important to the plot of the episode, the fact that it wasn't was an error of the writer (Jason Smith).

Exactly. He may have be a former Ranger but as far as I can see Jason Smith hasn't shown himself to be any better of a writer than those that handle every other current episode of Power Rangers.

I think sentai fans are the worst people to write Power Rangers, they seem unable to separate the sentai from their own ideas. Look how much better Power Rangers was in the days when people had no idea what footage they were getting.

Maybe if that was the case Super Megaforce would have been a pirate themed show about a crew who travel through past locations in the franchise (Terra Venture, KO-35, the RPM universe) collecting old Ranger powers.

This I am looking forward to.

I wholly expect a lot of new footage as I swear we were told no pre zyu teams

Despite everything, I am looking forward to it too.

Mainly because I loved Wild Force and look forward to seeing an episode that seems to focus on the "power-up zord".

I would love to see more Sentai-exclusive Ranger teams in Super Megaforce. Makes me hope that we'd get to see ALL the teams in the final battle.

So basically have a 46-year-old man watch raw Gokaiger footage and tell him "now make this into an American Kids Show?"
