Power Rangers - A Lion's Alliance - Clip #2 - Wild Access!
|
1: The WF morph was sad.
2: TURBORANGERS! I saw Turborangers! |
Well it looks like we may indeed see the Jetman suits...but as always, the dialogue kills it.
|
That was actually...pretty cool?
|
They actually super-imposed the Wild Force Rangers in to both scenes. Not very well, but they did.
|
Is the monster voiced by the guy who voiced Zeltrax? Colonel Truman? This clip actually makes me excited for the episode :D
|
Huh... That scene was pretty well done.
Even if it's just for a tiny bit it feels great to see my favorite ranger suits again. |
Oy. That dialogue and voice acting.

Okay. So when the Lion swats the Rangers, and they flip through the air - there's your Turborangers. Literally a second and change with no good visual until Turbopink at the end of the brief clip.
|
For pete's sake Saban. Some decent editing is all I'm asking for.
The new footage is admittedly the best alternative to making up off handed explanations for "new powers". But man the quality disparity is just too damn noticeable :lol Looks like I'll be prepping for another rough one this week. |
Maybe it's because Youtube doesn't work very well for me, or maybe it's because I've never seen Gokaiger, but I didn't really notice any glaring editing issues. At least not quite to the points of stuff in previous episodes. This has probably been the most impressive standalone clip I've seen so far and I don't even like Wildforce.
|
That was so very very cool. But why wood the Lion zord hit the Rangers to?
They looked just like the Wild Force Rangers his old team & friends. |

Is Cole even in this episode? If not, why? He came back as Juuzo...for some reason.

Credit where its due, apart from that momentary bit of sloppy editing that was pretty cool. That seriously couldn't have be done to deal with the Dairangers as well?
Oh well. Quote:

I've always found that really odd, like Power Rangers gives the roles to new "talent" and is somewhat to some questionable extent one big universe, so to give the same actor two completely unconnected characters is just really weird. It isn't even a shit on Disney, because as far as I'm aware the first all Disney series was Ninja Storm (which was much better than Wild Force).
It isn't a reference, a nod, it just seems completely random and serves no purpose. |

That is one of the least professional things I've seen on mainstream TV. Straight up. |
At least the Turboranger thing was an editing mistake and not NEW POWERS! Though they did conveniently cut the clip off right before the point where they did the Jetman transformation in Gokaiger...
|
Oh shit, I had to watch the clip like four times and I finally noticed what you guys meant. Are you serious guys? Come on. I've been really on board with the criticisms so far - they've been genuine - there is no such thing as a 'Ana-Mahr-ia' but come on that was like a microsecond and completely unnoticeable unless - apparently - you've seen Gokaiger.
|
I don't see why you guys are complaining. It's hardly noticeable at all.
|
"That lion knocked them all off the island, they're falling to Earth"
Yes thank you Captain Obvious. |
Cool

Well, it seems Levira has a bad habit of stating the obvious. Also, can anyone else see the camera crew in Emma's visor at 0:43?
Anyway, I do appreciate the effort they put into with the new Wild Force suit footage, so the one second Turboranger costume footage doesn't bug me that much, because at least it wasn't "OH NEW POWERS, BLAH BLAH BLAH, CARS AND BIRDS". Well, I can make the new powers joke about birds if they still do change into Jetman, but for all we know, they'll find a way out and use other rangers that could fly. |
Honestly the second shot of the Turborangers wasn't really noticeable at all, I think they managed to cut them out pretty darn decently.

I actually notice the camera crew in pretty much every shot, I've had to try and learn to ignore it. It's especially bad in close ups and in the megazord cockpit sections. Probably the worst for it were the Kyoryuger's since their whole face was a reflective shiny surface.
|
That actually looked fun. Woo! Totally makes up for the random "Hey, here's a car!" Last week.

Ah well, I still appreciate the effort. I'm glad they actually put the effort into the Wild Force episode and made up some new clips for it. I still wish they could use some the theme songs for some of these shows, but who knows, maybe they'll start doing it during the Megazord battle.... A man can dream, anyway. Quote:

When I notice they had Turboranger at first I was like really Saban? Then I actually saw I realized it's no big whoop!! You mind as well quit your bitching already cause their nothing to complain about!
|
Well, saying Saban to be more professional all because of some rangers that were barely noticeable and just wow, moments like thise make me question this fandom.
|
I'm curious why people are so against holding a professional television production company to a higher standard? Yes, it's a minor incident in and of itself, but it's very indicative of the underlying problems behind the scenes. Why shouldn't consumers be critical of the products they buy? Why shouldn't they expect a less flawed return on their investments of time and money?
People will scream to high heaven about scraped paint on a figure, but just roll over and accept it out of a TV show. I choose to be critical because I want things to improve in anything I support. I would question the fans who simply shrug their shoulders and accept mediocrity over those who would make an effort to see things bettered in the long run. |
Y'all are complaining about that shot? I didn't even know they were turborangers until you told me and then I had to look their costumes up to confirm it.
But now its glaringly obvious because of the pink ranger. @_@ Quote:
I would like to point out that even the best movies with the largest budgets have all sorts of filming problems. http://www.moviemistakes.com/film8157 Or even TV Shows. https://www.moviemistakes.com/tv7251 People get angry every week about it and bash the show about it every week but its a common problem throughout the industry. You'd be hard pressed to find shows / movies that do not have mistakes. That's the nature of the beast. |
I'm like the most critical person on this forum, so this thread is hilarious.
After people defended the use of Dairangers something INEXCUSABLE IN ANY REGARD seeing an entire thread of vitriol at something unnoticeable unless you've seen Gokaiger and are looking for it in the first place is so infuriating. It's like when it comes to responding to this show everyone is sent to some weird mirror dimension where left is yellow and yellow is cream. |
