Shame they didn't do such cameos for SPD and Mystic Force. Bit difficult to fit in 19 teams to do a call to when there are only 20 episodes in a season though.

The episode I have been waiting all season for! :D I cant wait to watch the whole thing.

All we saw was a few seconds of Casey chilling with a Tiger, I shouldn't get hyped, but boy do I want to get hyped.

With how this production is going the zoo gag isn't even necessary. I mean everything we've gotten so far is only one step away from Haim Saban himself just stepping onto the set, dropping his trousers and spraying all over the screen. It's how everyone in the audience feels already, maybe it'll be for the best if the production does that because at least then it doesn't have to pretend to care any more.

Well, Jason Smith wrote this episode, so who knows. Since he played Casey, this might be better than everyone is expecting

The scene looked really pretty. Too bad the dialogue made it painful.

Noah recognised Jayden but doesn't recognise the fucking Spirit of The Tiger Ranger, working next to a fucking tiger? I guess Jayden's joke about froyos was a dud, as apparently it's easier to spot a fucking samurai ordering deserts than a Ranger standing in what is basically a giant game of pictionary as to who he is.

And then DenziGreen, Battle France and Change Mermaid will appear, and the fans will piss blood with sheer hatred.

To be fair, Noah was very far away and it's not like Casey showed his face... Not to mention Jungle Fury is a Disney season so the data probably got buried in the database due to all the "OMG MMPR FTW!!!" :p

Let's hope that doesn't happen...

I think Disney is the exact reason here, Saban is trying to say their seasons are more iconic, that they can literally be totally out of their usual environment and still recognised by everyone.

The only irony in this is the show has so far been almost entirely Disney era focused, what did they use MMPR once and get their asses kicked? Lol at you Saban.

I've seen Shinkenger, but Samurai is perfectly okay in my book. :)

I give you that, after seeing Megafail and Super Megafarce, I've grown to appreciate Samurai a bit more. At least it had actual characters and plot, sure it was directly lifted from the sentai and watered down to the point of irrelevancy but it was still there.

...The sad part is that's not exactly wrong.

But as Saban marketed this as some great love letter to the franchise, there really is no excuse for this shit - at all. Maybe I'm too old to be watching this show - fine, whatever - but that still doesn't give Saban productions the right to fucking lie which is all they have done here.

Well my first Power rangers season was Lightspeed rescue. So i don't think the young argument holds a lot of water.

I dunno what to say then. I've watched the franchise on and off my whole life, from the start, and have more solid memories of the Disney stuff than I do of the early Saban business. But then I LOVED the later Disney stuff, which might make it different for me.

Well not all of those seasons were marketed for people to know about them, and ya wanna know why Disney gave up? We the fans knew about Sentai, we as the fandom apparently praised the Sentai, then shat on the Power Rangers. That's most of all of the opinions from EVERY Power Rangers/Toku site.

So what Saban just decided to give up? That certainly solves the problem.

Giving up implies that Saban ever tried at all in the first place.

Well we as the fans already know about these suits and such the only things new would be battlizers.

Yeah but that is total bullshit, Power Rangers shouldn't be made for purists and weebs on message boards, it should be made for POWER RANGER FANS. Isn't that what Saban fucking said?!

The whole tribute suggestion thing for sentai fans is not only dumb, but it's also nonsense. As much as it's a middle finger to the Power Ranger fans, it's just as much a middle finger to sentai fans to see classic sentai suits used without explanation in quick editing blunder moments. These new suits appeal to no one.

Speaking of new powers, the three teams used in the Gokaiger version of this episode are Gaoranger/Wild Force, Sun Vulcan, and Gekiranger/Jungle Fury.

Hopefully they cut out Sun Vulcan. I don't think that particular fight footage is too hard to get around, really. What I WANT them do is edit it into some other team that originally had three primary colored rangers like Ninja Storm, Dino Thunder, or RPM, but ahaha they won't.

They didn't, I'd put money on it.

I wouldn't even mind if they just went back to their regular Megaforce suits and fought instead of Sun Vulcan. They don't seem to mind shooting new footage for those at least.

I'd enjoy the Sun Vulcan footage. Again, I like seeing the Sentai-only teams finally being shown in the States.

What kind of logic is that? Even if we do say that that is the case, why didn't Noah even have a brainwave or something? Hey look it's a guy unnaturally at peace with a Tiger, I actually remember there was a Tiger Ranger who looked sorta like that guy, holy shit could it be him? But NO we get fucking "I guess they're just good friends" or whatever the fucking dialogue said.

Noah has apparently extensive knowledge of the Power Rangers universe in his head, without need for references, but what it has limited range or something? This is frustratingly stupid.
