I noticed there seemed to be a lack of a Bionicle thread here..... Until now!

Here is where you can talk about all things Bionicle (and Hero Factory is accepted too...). I start this off with a question:

What was your first Bionicle set (if you ever had one)?

Mine was a Toa Pohatu Phantoka set that I bought back in 2008.

Ah Bionicle. Mine was Tahu bought whenever the series first began (200's?) I still have a bunch of them too in storage

Tahu is actually one of my most recent ones. :D

First? A Kohrok my younger brother got for his birthday that eventuall tumbled into my possession because he never really enjoyed it.

First that was actually mine and mine alone? Gali Nuva and a Pahrak I got for Christmas one year.

And somewhere in there is a Boxor.

My first was Lewa Nuva, and right now he's one of the few figures that haven't broken, alongside a MOC, Piruk and Krika.

I agree! A good majority of my Bionicle sets are either broken, or in the case of the original Kopaka and Pohatu sets, incomplete.

Despite buying Tahu Nuva first when the nuva series come out I always enjoyed Lewa nuva more. He's the only not in storage either

I only own one Bionicle figure, and one Hero Factory. No idea wtf their names are lol

Gotta love those claws! Onua was my second Bionicle from the first year. I found it at a thrift store back in 2009, I believe. I lost his canister though :cry

I got him back then when the Line was first released over here in Germany. I dont know what happened to it over the years...i think I sold him together with all the others on a flea market years ago :lol

I could help with that, but I would need to see a picture of them first :lol

Do you remember what color they were?

I get you, I really get you, I had tons of them but in the end they all cracked.

In the end I made a cool jetpack from their corpses for Evo.

He's really cool.

Someone once told me that you could never outgrow Bionicle. So far that seems to be true XD

I still have a soft spot for that line. I always think about getting the original six again :lol

I still need to complete Kopaka and Pohatu. Pohatu is missing his head and his ball, and Kopaka is missing an arm and a leg. I guess this is what happens when I try to hunt down separate peices :lol

Most of the time they are great, but then there is always that one oddball line :lol

I saw a LEGO Jedi Starfighter at Wal-Mart last week. I might get it soon :lol

I had the fortune of growing up in an area where TRU decided to attempt one of their "Geoffreys" super-stores. When the Bohrok-Kal sets came out the store had this promotion where you could go in and build one of the new sets... for free. That's actually how I got all four of mine.

Also my Copper Mask of Victory, but that's sort of unrelated.

Honestly the Bohrok sets were some of the coolest things I had the fortune of owning. Pity the rubber bands were so easily lost or snapped.

I really want to get a Bohrok someday!

Anywho I've been having urges again to complete my collection yet again. Man a sealed or 100% complete Kongu Mahri.

Alright now lets all remember the best thing about bionicle, the lore it had. it was so deep for what basically a theme line for lego. It was so good

Ahhhhhh, good old Bionicle. I was and sitll am an utter nut over these. I had all of the original 5 as a kid, had three of the Nuvas, and from there I started buying less as the news one came out. I think the last ones I bought a lot for was when they did the mini versions of the original 6 a few years ago.

I don't remember ever seeing that one, really.

I always liked how the original forms had their tools/weapons built into them. The hooks were a bit awkward, but then I saw how she used them in the online game.
