So they're pulling the alternate universe angle like with the Faiz, Blade, Hibiki, Kabuto, and Kiva movies? I find this interesting.

I can't tell the difference between the 2 Matsubokkuri Arms, but the movie seems interesting. Hope we get scans for Toqger.

Heres hoping they show off the obligatory "stronger then the shows final form form" soon. I always get a kick out of seeing them try to outdo themselves for a suit that will only be used 2 times at most.

I'm betting the silhouette that looks like Gaim will be Yuuya's armored form. Maybe grapefruit? The blue one could be blueberry...and the green one is the new pinecone, right? Maybe Hase?

Oh, Peco is a rider now. That means every named character on Team Baron is a rider.


It also means that Team Baron now has one banana and two nuts. I love this show :lol

Ah, could be. I just saw three silhouettes so I assumed they were the three new riders.

An AU movie? Damn it, Kamen Rider, I thought we'd moved past this. :(

Next thing you're going to tell me is that Toshiki Inoue is writing it.

I'm a sucker for AUs so this has caught my interest. I've only seen a couple of the older Heisei ones which were pretty mixed (Ryuki's sucked, Blade's was alright and Kabuto's much better than the actual show), so hopefully if this is the route they go with Gaim I hope they can get it right.

A new Lockseed? Good for me, bad for my wallet :lol Although I cant wait to actually see Yuuya aside from 30 seconds.

I'm not entirely sure but going by the shape one of those could be Jinba Melon Arms.

I was thinking the same since we haven't seen it yet.

This Alternate Universe sounds cool. Anyways, I hope this movie gives me the Rider War I was promised in episode 1. Maybe this movie will show us Jinba Melon? Or Jinba Pinecone. The guy in the green shilouette might be apple.

Either way this could be an interesting film. The new Kurokage Commander is fantastic even if he's barely different from his troops. Those new silhouetted forms look cool too. I just hope this means more Arms Change are coming.

To be honest, the only movies that have been in continuity are...W, Fourze...the Wizard summer movie...Den-O. Maaaybe Agito?And Decade...cause...Decade. There is no continuity.

Majority of the first 10 are out of continuity, none of the OOO movies work unless you change things around (and erase Eiji's brain in the movie wars)

I prefer it this way. We don't get the movies interfering in the series and I always prefer each show being its own world

Do you think the 2014/2015 Rider will show up for a cameo? Watching Wizard in Magic Land made me wish Gaim had a cameo in that movie.

Me too, I think it's a superior approach. Allows you to enjoy the characters on adventures in the movie, but keeps things separate in case things go wrong (which has a higher chance because they usually have a different production team).

But I want the movie to be cannon. Otherwise I feel like I've wasted a viewing experience. If it isn't cannon it doesn't matter to the characters or story. For me that makes it pointless. Like the Kiva, Faiz, Blade, etc movies. They mean nothing to me when they're out of continuity with the series. Whereas the last couple years of Movie Wars have been superb ever since the basically cannonical Megamax.

Shows like Ryuki, Den-O, and Decade have movies that don't jive with the show entirely. But for reasons. Ryuki being the whole Rider War reset aspect, Den-O's involving time travel meaning the future and past can change independent of one another, and Decade because Decade. These make more sense to me than a movie that's just an alternate take on the show just because.

Well according to Tokusatsu network translations the return of Yuuya and Hase takes Kouta and Mai by surprise, so...maybe it is in continuoty and weird shit is going on due to the events in the movie.

Im hoping theres a crossing of dimensions with one where Yuuya survived and became gaim, since he had the belt first, so it could be a new arms on a repainted gaim outfit.

I know most of the suits are based off 3 base forms, but would be nice to see one really close to gaim, yet not.

I was taking OOO as an early Neo Heisei hiccup, though. I liked the idea that the films were going to be more integrated into the series, especially after W did it so wonderfully.

He's due to pop up in the late summer movie, unless they pull a swerve and do a special like Wizard did at the end.

Personally find the Kurokage leader to be pretty stupid. He's got a slightly different naginata and an inexplicable Energy Pinecone Lockseed (seriously? that gets an Energy version.) Just doesn't interest me at all.

The other three... maybe. The foremost pink silhouette probably is just Gaim Jinba Melon. But the blue is definitely something new based on the helmet, although the armor does resemble the original Melon Arms somewhat. The green guy's silhouette has a crazy helmet and I definitely want to know what's up with him.

Yuuya and Hase returning, even if from an alternate universe, does interest me, particularly given the Kouto and Mai may at least be from the main universe. That'll be fun to see play out.

In my opinion, it seems that if this movie is in continuity with the show then that might explain why this movie premier,s date is in late july.
That maybe some (if not all) elements of this movie might appear later in the show.

The movie itself is a debut to many elements that will perfectly fit in the show.
Peco (as Kurokage Shin) might betray Team Baron and join Yggdrasil then that will explain why is he attacking his teammates. If not he might be mind-controlled by the main antagonist of the movie and then after freed from it, he would keep the driver and the Matsubokkori Energy Lockseed and then using it in the show. Also the purple silhouette seems like Gaim in a Jimber Ams. As the only Jimber Arms still to debut in the show is Jimber Melon Arms, so this movie would be a perfect time for his debut.

For the two new armored riders, They might be the leader of other Beat Rider Teams (with my highest bet being Sonomura from Red Hot). Also, if so they might keep their drivers and use them later in the show. Otherwise they might be new characters. In that case if they manage to survive the movie ( due to the commin trend in the heisei era of non-evil movie exclusive riders dying during the movie they might also appear later in the show.

Lastly, Hase and Yuuya might have been resurrected by some unknown means. Like the main antagonist of the movie, that mysterious man named Lapis, Yggdrasil, or even a mysterious Lockseed.

My guesses are based on the show having a run of 48 to 52 episodes.
Though these could change if the rumoured 33 episodes run of Gaimdue to the World Cup is true.

Only time will tell.

Anyway, I have to agree with Den-O, I like the movies more when they are in cannon.

I like the idea of AU movies.
Also, I'm pretty sure its canon and no cannon.

Gaim's final form will have to work HARD to out-do Kachidoki. The multi-coloured visor is a promising first step.

Yes, they are homonyms. And it is canon in the since that it's officially made.

I'm fine with either AU movies as long as it's obviously an AU or in continuity, but unimportant. It's when the movie perfectly matches the show, but has no place to fit in the in continuity that I get annoyed. Gaim is very serialized less spots to fit extra stories into, so I prefer AUs for Gaim.

Personally, I'd like to see a what if movie set in the future where Gaim fails and Helheim takes over the Earth with only few humans still alive.

"Sense" would've been appropriate. "In the sense that" is a real phrase.

"Since" refers to the passage of time or regarding something in the past tense. "In the since that" is not a real sentence.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how well they do Kiwami being able to use all the weapons. It certainly has the potential to make up for the 'Sonic Arrows or everyone!' phase of the show.
