Question: Putties and weapons?
 

Okay, so this is a two part question;
1: Did the putties ever use weapons in the show? I seem to remember this from when I was a kid, but now I can't seem to find any evidence of this online!
2: Having bought the Megaforce 3/3.4 inch putty today, I noticed it comes with weapons that resemble the rangers ones, does anyone know if there's any significance to this? Or, did they just do this to include weapons?

Some of them had a weird spike arm, but that's all I know of.

i think the only time the putties used weapons was when they were the fake rangers that one time. every other time they just punched shit.

Sometimes they had a boulder or a big rock for a hand...

1. Yes, some had a boulder hand and others has a stone sword hand. The mace weapon the Z Putty toy comes with resembles the boulder hand a little bit, but it's a handheld weapon instead of replacing the hand.

2. The weapons the 4" Putties come with are the Ranger's combined Power Blaster and the Blade Blaster/Thunder Slinger combo used to defeat the Super Putties (and never seen again in PR).

They could defeat Super Putties with them. That's about it :p

Dang, I was hoping that we could have a badass putty who would kick the rangers butt! :lol

Yeah the accessories are only because the singular ones couldn't combine in the 2010 4" line, so Putty was packaged with the combined stuff.

As for in the show, their hands could be swords, spears, boulders or even just giant fists depending on the Putty/Golem.

i dont even remember the thunder slinger...at all.

The Thunder Slingers were overshadowed by sharing the episode with the first appearance of Titanus and the first time Red got to use the shield. Plus, in PR, they were never used again.
