Next Kamen Rider 2014-2015 Rumors and Speculation
 

Post all the rumors you know of for the next rider here, or speculate on what you think the next season will be.

Something to do with number 7 either subtly or directly.

Since Gaim was/is really successful it definitely will be a multi rider show.

Im not even gonna start guessing. Because Gaim will never end!!!

Since this comes up every year let's just get these ideas out of the way erly for ones that'll actually happen.

Every year there's a rumor that the new Kamen Rider will either sing or paint and have a big paint brush has a weapon and on and on. Never happens. Won't this year.

Well we already got a music rider so it could happpen again.

What music Rider?

Kamen Rider Hibiki and all of the riders from his show are based on musical instruments.

And I'm thankful for that.

Hibiki I'll give you. But it was also the oddest Rider series they ever made, and I doubt it'd happen again.

A painting rider would be awesome. It could work like diend but instead having the ability to paint reinforcements during the fight. It doesn't really matter if its riders or monsters, either could work just fine.

I'll predict this much: by the end of May we'll have our first rumors. They will be wrong.

Here's what I want!

- Ninja rider (Rurouni Kenshin & Ninja Gaiden style)
- Dinosaur rider (Incredible Hulk & Tarzan style)
- Adventure rider (Indiana Jones & Huntik style)
- Gargoyle rider ("Disney" Gargoyles style)
or
- Racer rider (Speed Racer & Hot Wheels Highway 35/Acceleracers style)

I'd like to see the shinobi rider since we've had that rumor for like a year or two now, but we just had Gaim who's a samurai, sooooo...

I kinda hope not for the whole multiple Rider gig, personally for me but I really don't think Gaim has juggled its sheer quantity of stuff well at all. Story and characters? That is Gaim's gig. Novelty and action? Yeah, not so much...

I'd happily go back to a two Rider format - honestly I wouldn't even complain if we went back to one. Gaim's need to constantly fulfil its contract for toy selling actually stunts and gets in the way of things most of the time. That is the great part of a Rider's supporting cast, they can grow free from the shackles of merch sales but since 90 percent of Gaim's cast is a Rider, all we really have is Mai and no one wants Mai... well everyone wants Mai in the show but shitty love dodecahedron's is beside the point.

And if they're going to do the whole OVER NINE THOUSAND form thing, I'd rather something like Kuuga's base four forms where each one is relevant and has a place. But I'm guessing none of that is likely to happen.

True, but we could get a kick ass VS movie out of it. Maybe even a few Kakuranger and Hurricanger cameos, though that's wishful thinking.

I kinda want a rider that's kinda based on martial arts like Gekiranger, but I think that be a bit way to out of it since the Neo-Hesei riders rely on gimmicks more so than the past Hesei riders.

No more two pair riders. I want multiple riders again!

Besides.... after seeing two pair riders in the heisei rider era for the first time, I was getting bored.

I'd personally love to get another body transformation/organic rider like Shin. You have countless story possibilities with an idea like that and it would be really damn interesting in my opinion. Heck if they don't want to make it organic and mutant like, do it cyberpunk style ala Tetsuo.

I think martial arts and gimmicks could go hand in hand, when you think of all the styles and equipment. The Rider could have - pulling out of my ass so think of the bigger picture not the details - sets of dog tags and each one holds within the style of fighting of a certain warrior that allows the Rider to switch styles.

Karate Form, Tai Chi Form, Bartitsu Form, Pencak Silat Form etc I think it'd be rocking. Seeing Rider armours designed on gi suits and all the rest.

If you get bored that easily, I think that is more of a comment of yourself than it really is the shows.

Anyone think we'll be going back to cards or have a new collectible gimmick for the next series?

Now that Bandai knows they can sell us fruits and padlocks and we eat it up I dont think they will go back to something as safe as cards :lol

It's highly plausible. Perhaps they'll even try to make it to where it's an actual card game you can buy packs for.

Something new. But you never know, Collectable Card Games apparently still sell like crazy in Japan. I mean they still release Decade Gunbaride Cards for each new Rider that comes out.

My hope is that the next Rider is a return to the insect Rider, to be honest.

You just jinxed yourself and instead of insects, we'll get arachnids, which would be all sorts of awesome.

I wish they gave us a new rider with a key gimmick. Kinda like Ryukendo.

The fuck does that mean? Not every show needs 3 Riders at minimum.

I'd really like to see a new show have 3 or 4 main Riders like Faiz or Blade, and distribute forms and upgrades across them semi-equally. While there was still a big focus on the main Rider, those shows had separate Rider arcs without there only being total opposites for motives and/or personalities like with a 2 Rider show

(I.E. Shotaro/Phillip fighting for the city while Terui initally fought for revenge, Eiji fighting to protect others and being selfless while Date was initially in it for the money, Haruto fighting to protect gates while Nitou trying to survive initially,e.t.c.)

There was a rumor a few weeks ago but didn't really go into much detail. just mentioned the little robot helper toys will be coming back and the theme is some sort of tribal theme (that or google translate hated me that day)

Shoot me. W and OOO were really good about limiting it, but Wizard's stupid animals were so blatant at points (also probably due to the lack of plot).

Well... 2 riders did bore me.

What I'm trying to say is... I want a new rider series besides just two but 3... 4... or 5?

I mean...

In OOO, two is just fine due to core & cell medals. OOO is cores & Birth is cells.

In Fourze, if there were three. Fourze would represent Kengo & his father, Meteor would represent Emoto/Virgo and if there was a third, it'd be a zodiarts rider representing Gamou. After all three astronauts were involved with some certain project by the core switch.

In Wizard, due to two, as I said for Fourze, they should add three! Haruto suppressed the Phantom in him while Nitou possesses a belt containing a Phantom's power. But if there was a third, and it'll be in Kizaki's group, he'd be a Phantom that is acting as the Gate, but instead it turns out he's honoring its Gate in despair by giving it hope. Wizard is like Dante & Vash the Stampede so the third should be like Vergil & Nicholas Wolfwood.

And W...? Well would like three riders: W & Accel plus Kirihiko who should've survived the attack after betraying the Sonozaki family. Shroud would've at least left him a lost driver like Skull and having him become Nasca and he should also look after his sister after she suffers amnesia from the yesterday memory.

What about a engine theme Kamen Rider? Super Sentai had three car theme shows while Kamen Rider has none. They can have wheels as the toy gimmick on the belt.

I'm seeing a multi-rider show of nothing but Accel. .. And I love it!

… Does anyone want a comic-book Rider, with every form encapsulating a different superhero archetype?
