Kamen Rider 555(faiz) pose
This is a bit of a silly thread, but I am seriously curious as why to why Faiz has his signature as pose is. Did they ever explained why he does this pose, or just some thing that's always been there? Is it just a after finisher move pose, or just... really Faiz pose and I'm just over thinking it :o

I find a lot of the older Rider touches really weird. Faiz also had this weird classic Rider thing of pointlessly flapping his hands when he transformed. They stopped doing that for Neo Heisei, so going back it's really weird to see Riders flapping, clapping and rubbing.

He looks exhausted more than anything,

And that makes more sense of it than the entire show, which has one episode where Takumi doesn't understand the Gear and then every episode since he seems the most knowledgeable on the Gear, even over those who started the series teaching him how to use it.

I guess he found time to read it, as he spent more of the season ironing than he did actually fighting or protecting people.

That first pose is his pre Rider kick pose.
He flicks his wrist when he transforms. |
I do think Takaiwa does have an explaination for those little things.
Here are my guess Crouch down pose: - Setting the pointer - Getting ready to run and jump - Getting ready to feel the recoil generated by the photon stream rush. It is said that the user of the gear will have to withstand the shock generated by the photon blood rush during transformation, and the shocks generated after using Crimson Smash is 3 ~ 4 times greater than the one during transformation. Flapping hand: - Try to wake up the body before going numb after all the shocks. |
If only we actually got that from the actual show...
It's weird that a LOT more of Toku powers involve a direct impact on the user, and yet it's also a medium that really never truly explore those effects on the body compared to its American counterparts and their own spandex clad heroes, who seem much more interested in the ramifications of powers even if they aren't ever quite as outwards as toku are in how immediate these effects are. |

every rider has a pose of their own. takumi just has the crouch pose. however, am i the only one that notices that his rider mannerisms don't match him at all?
it's like when he transforms, he's a totally different person |

Writers doesn't determine how the actor should coordinate with the suit actor. It is the director's job. For Wataru's case it was a completely different thing. As written in character/rider description at the official site his fangire blood takes over and turns him into an aggressive person when he was bitten by Kivat and transforms into Kiva. |
Once again though, it's up to the writers and the show itself to convey stuff, not just add details in bios never brought up in the real product.

For that you can say 95% of the Japanese shows are having the same problem.
A very common thing they do in their industry. |
That doesn't make it okay though.
|
It is not ok, but what else you can do?
They are not going to change, and you are going to complain again and again. Why not just make life a bit easy by understanding their way of doing things, step back and make use of google to fill in the blanks rather than hoping for a miracle to happen. |
