Custom Kamen Rider Gaim AC Figures
 

So, I've been looking over the 6 figures I have and thought "since I'm never gonna sell these, I'm gonna make them how I want them to be! So, I looked at the Gaim website for reference and got to work!

So the first one I did was Gaim, which I showed you guys earlier:

Gaim was painted with Krylon Gold (his head crest), Krylon Silver, a mixture of Acrylic Orange and Copper for the Orange Arms, metallic Black, metallic gold, clear green (for the orange bit), metallic white (Daidaimaru), and silver acrylic for SengokuDriver details.


And here's the second one I did, Baron!

All his previous gray bits were painted with Krylon Silver, then detailed with gunmetal gray. His SengokuDriver was painted in the same way as Gaim's. The Banaspear is still being painted though.

After I finish him, I'll get to work on Ryugen! Actually, Ryugen and Zangetsu both have work done on them, but I'm missing some paint needed for them.

I sincerely hope that the paint on these things doesn't chip at all, that would be tragic. :(

I clear coat everything, so they're alright :). Only problem so far was the back of Gaim's Orange Helmet, some paint scraped when I turned the Arms back into the Orange :/

Fuck figuarts. I might just try to track down and complete all the arms change guys someday. You are one brave dude for painting such an expensive figure though.

Wasn't expensive for me. I got Gaim for 1500yen and paid for Baron with a gift card :lol

Lol at this stage the figuarts will be cheaper than all the arms change guys. :( Just once I wish people would buy the figuarts vs the gimmick line. Why this year!!??

The purple was made of a mix of metallic purple, metallic blue and dark red. I still have to paint his SengokuDriver though XD

The fact that the purple wasn't metallic and it's supposed to be a bit darker :lol

It's not that hard, just a lot of disassembling, spray painting, and filling in the gaps with some gunmetal gray :)

Finished customizing Arms Change Baron. Gaim is almost done (trying to find the right green for the Daidaimaru), Ryugen’s SengokuDriver still needs to be painted, and Gridon is on the table right now.

~DONGURI ARMS! NEVER GIVE UP!~

Finished customizing my Arms Change Gridon! He does have a mini printed decal of his faceplate on his SengokuDriver too. His chainmail was painted the same way I did Baron’s, and he has silver on his helmet now too. His Donkachi was spray painted and repainted.

And you also reminded me that I think Gridon looks like a German Cuckoo Clock fused with a Crusader. :lol
