TokuNation.com's FRUIT HENSHIN Contest
 

In celebration of the incredibly popular Kamen Rider Gaim series (TOEI, Bandai Japan), TokuNation.com is proud to announce the FRUIT HENSHIN CONTEST. This contest is an opportunity for all tokusatsu fans to win two prize packages consisting of two Arms Change figures and two Lockseeds from the popular Kamen Rider Gaim toy line (Bandai Japan). Continue on to discover how to enter this contest! Contest is open to participants across the entire globe. Entrants MUST be 18 years of age or older to enter.

CONTEST DETAILS
Take a picture of yourself (or have someone take a picture of you) in a henshin pose (a cool pose akin to what a Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, or Power Ranger would do before transforming in to their hero counterpart). But instead of holding a device, hold a piece of fruit to act as your henshin device. That's right - we want to see your henshin/morphing pose while holding a piece of fruit. When finished, send the picture to contest@tokunation.com. Deadline to enter is Sunday, May 25th 2014. Winners will be announced on or around Monday, June 2nd 2014.

PRIZE PACKAGES
There are two prize packages. One package contains the Arms Change Kamen Rider Baron and Arms Change Kamen Rider Zangetsu Shin action figures. These items are MISB (mint-in-sealed-box), meaning they have not been opened and are still factory-sealed shut. The other package contains a Gashapon Kamen Rider Agito Lockseed as well as the magazine exclusive Fresh Orange Lockseed. These are also MISB (mint-in-sealed-box), meaning they have not been opened and are still factory-sealed shut. See images below.


GRAND PRIZE WINNER
The grand prize winner will have their choice of either the Arms Change figures, or the two Lockseeds. The prizes are not interchangeable - grand prize winner must select one or the other.

RUNNER-UP WINNER
The runner-up winner to the grand prize winner will receive the remaining prize package dependent on what the grand prize winner chose.

HOW TO ENTER THE "FRUIT HENSHIN" CONTEST
Take a picture of yourself (or have a friend take a picture of you) in a henshin/morphing pose while holding a piece of fruit. Send that picture via E-mail to contest@tokunation.com with the subject line "Fruit Henshin contest". Please include the following information: full name, TokuNation.com forum name (if applicable), and Twitter username (ie: @TokuNation). Winners will be selected by a panel consisting of TokuNation.com staff members.

RULES!

• Must be 18 years of age or older to enter
• You are allowed to photoshop/digitally enhance your picture, but you cannot digitally add a fruit to an existing picture. Your picture must actually be of you holding fruit. Any entries that look to be digitally edited (ie: you digitally added the fruit to your picture later) will be disqualified.
• Only one entry per individual will be accepted
• Staff members or family members of TokuNation.com staff are not eligible to win
• Entry in to the contest gives TokuNation.com the right to use/share your photo (and only your photo, not your name) on social media to promote the contest. Only your photo will be shared - private information will remain private and will never be sold. Winning photos will be shared on the TokuNation.com front page when the contest reaches its deadline.
• TokuNation.com maintains the right to disqualify any entry for any or no reason (but we're not jerks, if your photo meets the requirements, you're 99.9% in!)

Contest deadline is Sunday, May 25th 2014. E-mail your picture to contest@tokunation.com with the subject "Fruit Henshin contest". Include real name, TokuNation.com forum name (if applicable), and Twitter handle (if applicable).

My main worries are that my fruit will be hard to see (due to where I'm taking my pic) and not knowing what Henshin pose to use.

Sorry for the age restriction, but for legal reasons we cannot have anyone under the age of 18 sending in pictures of themselves. We appreciate your understanding. We will have a future contest that doesn't involve taking pictures - but that probably won't happen until after the convention season is over (cuz come July through August, we be very busy!)

Man, I wish I was able to do this. I had a good idea involving Faiz's henshin and a banana....

I don't own any Lockseeds anyways, so I'm fine.

Question, if we have multiple ideas, could we just load multiple photos into one submission? Or are we strictly limited to one photo?

Damn fine contest. One of the best ideas for one I've ever seen, I'll definitely try and enter, though I need to pick up some fruit (knew I should have gotten bananas at the store the other day).

Yes - but you do need to be at least holding a piece of fruit in the picture. Whatever else you want to throw in is up to you.

I know too many henshin poses! Lol it's going to be tough to see what is good to take a photo with.

Are Gifs okay?

Would videos be okay? Because I was thinking of an entire henshin pose.

Would using Fruit Loops or Fruit Roll-Ups be ok? Seriously though,I've got an idea in my head,but I can't do it because I don't have that particular fruit. I think a lot of people might have the same idea though.
