How strong is Armored Rider Bravo?
Just looking at his stats, he appears to have slightly stronger stats than Malika.
Is he stronger than Malika by any chance or at least equal to her? In terms of Sengoku Driver, alone he possesses the second strongest "natural" Lockseed (Strongest being Suika and excluding Kachidoki, a byproduct of having an orange being turned into a metal orange and then into it's current state :lol) Would that put him on par with the Genesis Driver users? I mean We've all seen how bad Gaim wrecked Oren when he was serious, noting that his strength doesn't just come from a power up. I'm trying to find what can Oren possibly offer in the show.. the rumored fight with Gridon and Bravo vs Malika never happened. :( |
Even ignoring the stats - because I'm sorry but most of the time those sorts of things have no actual connection to the series proper - considering Oren is one of the only Characters in the show we know of with actual combat experience, it seems a waste that he went from this healthy balance of physical comedy and psychopathic terror to now where he's just a one note gag character. You would think, Sengoku Driver or not, that experience would mean he was still relevant in the action but...I guess not.
At this point I don't think I'd be disappointed if they killed him off - like so many wanted back when - just because he had the potential to be so interesting and the show has utterly wasted him. |
Considering skill and physical strength, Bravo is the strongest rider out of the Sengoku driver users- at least if you don't take Jinba Arms and Kachidoki Arms into the count. In the show, it took two of the (up to that point) strongest lock seeds (Banana and Mango) to even stand a chance against him- weaker lock seed users like Kurokage and Gridon didn't even need to try (remember how they trained together and were beaten up by him effortlessly?).
The strength of a Lock Seed is determined by it's number, so the higher the number is the stronger the lock seed is as well- Durian is number 12 and thus the second strongest regular lock seed (followed by Mango and Suika- Kiwi is the only known one with a higher number). Personally, I think the stats are not correct. Marika's lock seed has the number 3, so she is technically the second strongest Energy Rider (Number 1 is Melon). As the Genesis driver is significantly stronger than the Sengoku driver (which Ryoma states himself at some point) we can assume that the Lock Seeds are as well. Also: Marika is trained in battle as well- so out of suit, Oren and Youko are about the same level. In suit, Marika would probably win (remember we have yet to see her full potential, as Ryouma stated). |
Also keep in mind that Oren Pierre lost rather quickly against Kouta in his Jinba Lemon Form. Yoko on the other hand had no problems to fight him and as we know she was holding back the whole fight so she wouldnt kill him.

To basically agree with most people here, Oren is the strongest Sengoku Driver user, ignoring the Jinba forms (because that's a combo power deal, not really just the Sengoku driver at that point) and Kachidoki (because Super Mode cares not for your ranked lockseeds :P). So far we've yet to see Kouta actually beat him without upgrading to a higher mode, so Oren's still king of the Sengoku riders. Solo, at least.

It's not really that Bravo has been depowered, merely that everyone else has increased in power or started a higher level.

Basically anybody who matters in this show has gotten a power upgrade, except for Micchy but Micchy's probably the weakest fighter on the show who isn't Gridon anyway. |
Although I'd still take Bravo being left behind, than becoming another fighter with a bow.

to me, bravo is just weak. he is like the Leangle of the show. starts off strong but gets outclassed by the other riders getting their upgrade(s). i do agree he is the strongest among the sengoku driver riders when no one uses their upgrades.
Ryugen isn't that weak. maybe in terms of power but he is cunning. |

I am going to have to disagree with a lot of people here. All evidence is that Bravo is not the strongest Sengoku rider. Zangetsu is the strongest of the original 7 riders, by a large margin. Also, I would argue that it's not that Bravo is inherently stronger than the others, but as the only one bar Zangetsu with legit combat experience, he's fighting in a different league. Baron and Gaim close the gap through team work or compensating for experience with power.
And no, he's nowhere near as strong as any of the genesis riders or Jinba. Marika makes a point that their powers outstrip the original drivers such that Bravo just can't match its power, experience or no. So Sid, arguably the weakest genesis rider, would be able to curbstomp him. |

I think most people either forget, or dismiss Zangetsu as a Sengoku Driver user because he upgrades to Genesis after the 2 times we see him use his old driver (not counting the 2 occasions he either defending Yggdrasil agents or destroying evidence). But yes, no one denies Zangetsu is generally the strongest rider (or was, if not for Ryouma with Duke or Kouta with Kachidoki). Besides, Bravo actually participated in the Invess games, while Tatakora stayed out of it for the most part. He only confronted other riders when they entered Helheim, so from a certain standpoint he's removed from the other Sengoku driver users as they were all "lab rats" for collecting data. Baron and Gaim teaming up to beat him, while awesome, doesn't take away from the fact that alone, neither of them seem to be able to just beat him without upgrading to an Energy Arms form (which requires a Genesis Driver/Core, so they technically stop counting as Sengoku wielders at that moment), or going straight up Kachidoki (which I'm not sure counts as just a Sengoku driver lockseed, being made by weird DJ magic). If Kachidoki counts, than Gaim is the strongest rider, no debate. But if it doesn't, then really Bravo has shown to be a force that requires two other riders to face him if they hope to beat him, which usually suggests that that person is strong, if not stronger than both of them. Also, let's not forget that Baron could take on Hase alone, only being beaten by him when he teamed up with Jounoichi, but when facing Bravo alone, the first time he was beaten even with Invess helping him, and the second time his Au Lait was beaten by Bravo's no problem. Whether the same can be said if he faced Gaim's, Ryugen's, or heck a Kurokage's if left to be seen, but the only time I've seen his finisher overtaken was with Gaim's Jinba form. His skill had nothing to do with the strength, shape, or effectiveness of the attack, it's a special attack that just does what it does, and if it overpowers another special attack then I guess that means it's stronger. |
