Well that was satisfying. Apparently Micchy has no real idea how to fight in that suit.

Micchy is such a bitch. I wanted him to dehenshin so bad today, SO BAD. Demushu come out of nowhere was a proper "OH FUCK NO GO AWAY GODAMMIT" moment. I hope they don't draw out Micchy's secret identity, I think it's about time that Kouta found out.

Also looks like Baron and Gaim are getting buddier again.

...how am I supposed to keep on waiting a week more than usual after that cliffhanger?!

Micchy's a total scrub when it comes to fighting?

It's important to remember while both Mitsuzane and Kaito both seek power the power they want differs from what the other wants.

Kaito wants sheer physical power in order to overthrow modern society since his father lost his job years ago. While rude and always willing to fight he tends to be honest and straightforward; always fighting and living life head on.

Mitsuzane on the other hand wants to control people as that is how he sees power. He's a well known manipulator who will lie, cheat and kill in order to get what he wants. He also is not a fighter like Takatora and Kota thus he prefers to hide in the shadows and strike when he has a chance.

It's also important to note that ol' Ryugen is using new powers and weapons. Henceforth he's not at the same level as the other Genesis Riders and may never be at their level. However he is smart and unhinged so he could become like a certain snake themed Rider from long ago.

Ignoring your sarcasm, Micchy actually knows how to use his old power set just fine. It just so happens to involve not being in close combat. My comment was on how since Zangetsu's fighting style is half ranged and half melee, Micchy is forced to fight in away he's not used to (which the little shit would be by now if he actually freaking used Kiwi arms. What is with Kureshimas and not using their Sengoku driver's finishing moves?).

So no, he not a total scrub, just because it's popular to hate now doesn't mean we're ret-conning his...adequate fighting skills.

Kikaider crossover next week...! If it wasn't mentioned before here...

Kikaider crossover has me aching for more already. That was a damn awesome scene at the end to seem him roll right up. The preview for next week looks all kinds of crazy too. Can't wait to see Ryouma lose his head over how awesome Kikaider is technologically. :lol

Wow, that free for all between all the Energy Riders and the Overlord has to be one of Gaim's most intense fights yet.

Seeing Kaitou and Kouta take turns beating down Sid was delicious. Now if they'd just do that to Micchy.

I was BEGGING for Miichi to dehenshin during that fight.

If Miichi meets his horrible end, I'm hoping Sid is the one that pulls the trigger.

There was so much "da fuq" in Takatora's eyes as he discovered that he had been repeating the exact same mistakes that the Overlords made when the forest invaded. If he can get back to Zawame City and get his Sengoku Driver, I'm willing to bet he will hold the answer to when (or if) it is ever revealed that Micchy is a traitor to Kouta.

I'm kind of hoping they never let that tidbit get out. It would ruin Kouta's character if he didn't react just the right way.

Such an epic episode, Mitchy and Sid are SBFFN (Slimy Best Friends For Now) , Kaito seems to be gearing up to revile Mitchy and Takatora learns that his original plan would be the downfall of man.

That crossover next week seems random, but as long as it doesn't stop the plot dead

This was a phenomenal episode, I loved the parts with Roshuo and Takatora basically learning the similarities between the two worlds. I hope Takatora finds some way to change his worlds fate. Loved Kouta and Kaito beating up Sid, I can't wait for Micchy to get his own beatdown. Demushu heading to our world is definitely heading towards trouble, and I can't wait for Kikaider next week. =)

Wow. 29 episodes in and there are only three awful episodes? I'm honestly impressed.

Wait! It's not as bad as you think.

For me, I hate other Super Hero tie-ins (With my Tokusatsu anyways.)

The end of this episode, and the subject of the next episode? Really suck for me.

I'm tired of "HEY OLDER CROWD REMEMBER THIS GUY!? RELLLEEEVEENNNCCCCYYY"

Thus, I hated the end, and really turned me off, and based on the preview. It's going to be another TokuTrain & TokuFruits teamup. Just this time it is going to be the original W... -sigh-

And I will watch that scene for hours on end. Like I watched the Gif of Mai slappy Micchy.

With all of Kaito's talk about power and strength, I wonder why he's holding onto the Sengoku?

You'd think he'd throw that into the trash the minute he got his Genesis.

I really wanted Micchy to dehenshin during that fight.

Sentimentality? Or maybe he just remembers what happened to Hase and keeps it as a backup.

Backup seems like a practical reason.

From what I've read about the Genesis Driver, it out performs the Sengoku Driver by leagues. Though it is uncertain if it can supply nourishment because the Genesis Driver only accepts S Class Lockseeds.

The toy, however does allow regular/non energy lockseeds to be used with the joke "Liquid!" instead of "Soda!" being used. Though the non-energy Lockseeds are incompatible in the Sonic Arrow.

I think he keeps it as more of a honor thing, if he wants to fight fair against a normal armored rider he'll become bananas and mango, but if he's going against the energy riders on a fair fight he'll become lemon arms, that's how I see it anyways.

Except Kaito's entire philosophy and style is built around attacking with overwhelming brute force almost as much as honor. He has no real reason to hold back from breaking out Lemon Arms at the first sign of trouble, especially considering that the only legitimate threats to him (Kouta, Micchy and the rest of the Next Generation Riders, and the Overlords) would require it so he can keep up the pace- and most of them are in the forest with him.

Considering the amount of time he's spent in Helheim and that the speculation about the Genesis Driver's shortcomings are true, he was likely keeping his old Banana Arms primed because he a) didn't know how long he'd be out in the forest, and b) didn't want to be caught off-guard by any Inves or Riders. There isn't a lot of downtime between switching Drivers for him, so he could easily slip into Lemon Energy whenever he decided it was necessary, then revert right back to Banana afterward.

Kaito maybe be straightforward, but he's not stupid.

Guess your right about him being in the forest... Man at this point they should've really just made a Shin Banana form him.

Has it ever explained that the more powerful the drivers are, the more taxing it can be on the person? Like Mitchy was incredibly exhausted after being Zangetsu Shin the first time during Baron & Gaim and the second time, getting his ass kicked by Deemushu and Gaim.

I know Kenzaki was exhausted every time he used Blade King.

I mean I wouldn't understand why Gaim would stay in Orange Arms when Jinba forms are supposedly just as fast as Ichigo Arms and we also have Jinba Cherry that can move at fast speeds.

I hear you there, but they only had so much time and money to put into it. I don't mind it though, as "Knight in Sour Armor" pretty well sums up Kaito's character, I just really freakin' hate the Sonic Arrow. I'd much rather him and Duke use something more... knightly, or even kingly.

I liked the weapon at first since we rarely get bows in Rider but its really getting on my nerves now. We have six characters in the show that use the damn thing. Plus the fact that its supposed to also function as a blade but they never use it as such. They just roll around a bit shooting at each other.
