When it shows up at my store, I might end up impulse buying it. And then selling it later because that's outside of my budget.

You think it will combine with the Legendary Megazord??

They have some Zord-builder ports, so there's hundreds of awkward looking combination potential here for those into that gimmick.

But hm, that bendy head crest looks troublesome.

Head crest can be fixed with some hot water, postioning it back into place, and then running it under cold water

Reports say that the toy is heavy - you could probably knock someone out with it. Paint details look great. Only issue is that accursed soft plastic head-fin that is warping in packaging.

Let's hope not all of those head spikes come as bowed as the one pictured. Fixable or not, it shouldn't come like that.

Seem like this going to version were the fin going to get fixed just like how the Crome sword does not scrap off by the handle in newer version

So bummed about the head fin issue. Just waiting on mine to come in from Amazon.

Just a heads up..

Diamond Comics expects it to be ready in comic stores/sites on or after May 28th. TRU has their pre-orders set for mid-June, but no TRU stores in the entire country have orders out to Bandai for any, which are usually done a month in advance. Amazon is likely following the Diamond Comics way, also, along with BBTS, Entertainment Earth and others.

Diamond forwards those release dates months ahead of time. Trust me as a retailer who deals with them regularly, they are often very very wrong :(

I have one coming in for myself through them supposedly on that day so I'll update everyone when they do.

Does anyone know what the retail price on the dragonzord figure is going to be.

This is a release that has been a long time coming but I think BoA somewhat dropped the ball. The Megazord mode using the Dragonzord as the central component looks off due to the legs. The new hand sculpts are okay. The tail has neat new sculpting but looks bland due to the colors.

In some ways I think the original release is better.

Uh... it is based on the original one, but it is show accurate.

Yes but it's not the same toy as the original 1993 Dragonzord. Why?

Because the original toy is too big to go with the new Daizyujin. It also does not have sculpted details. Oh, and it lacks articulation.

The original MMPR toys are fun as a kid, but they are crap now as adult. Thank god for the legacy line.

Alright so I got my dragonzord today and I'm happy to say mine didn't have the fin issue. Cheezus crust this thing is heavy and beautiful. Very worth the 79.99 I paid for him. I actually say I like him better than the original. The show accurate paint/moulded parts are nice.

Just received my confirmation email from TRU.com. "Item(s) located in stock." So, looks like those of us in the US will be seeing it on store shelves sometime in June. Those of us who preordered, next week.

I got my TRU preorder confirmation last night, and just got a "we can't ship this in time so we will try to cancel this order" email. But I seem to recall this happening before and getting my item safe and sound, but still, heads up.

And now I have a shipping notice. Weird.

Mine is literally 125 miles away from me and just sitting there. So close and it just won't move. Driving me nuts.

Man I'm still waiting for mine to ship. I ordered my Dragon Dagger and that got here in a couple days. Well hope it comes at some point.
