I thought the new Gavan movie bombed? The team up in Go-Busters and SHTZ didn't help neither.

Assume it is a show. This might be stupid but there are some Metal Hero fans out there. Also, one has to remember (and regardless of one's own opinion on the matter). That Metal Heroes were adapted by Saban. The only Sheriff used was Shaider for VR Troopers, but he does qualify. Say this is a show, some of this might get used for the sake of the states (but this is all rambling of course).

According to all the translations I can find it seems to say that a new Uchhu Keiji/Space Sheriff is coming. To me this would mean a brand new Space Sheriff character all together. Not one based on an old one like Gavan Type G. I think we're getting a brand new character but my bet is on a movie though, not a TV series.

I think Shirakura got that part covered a while a go on twitter and at Kikaider promo at Kadokawa x Niconico.
Toei will not start a new project without sponsors.
They cannot kill or change the content of an ongoing show without orders from the sponsors.
Sponsors (and BPO) decisions have higher priority than anybody else.

Hey as long as I get some new Metal Hero stuff I'm happy.

I'm down for it. I would much prefer a show, but I guess movie is the more likely of choices.

A 4th member of the Space Sheriff family would be good to see for a change.

The fun thing about metal heroes is there are sub categories within; space sheriff, mechanical cop, hitech rescue to name a few.
But if they are bringing it back they should start with a space sherrif and then make a new Janperson/Jiban type hero and then the successor to Winspector, Solbrain and Exceedraft.

Then they wrap it up with Japan's Avengers film Metal Hero Taisen.

If they're going to bring back Metal Heroes, I wish it wasn't with the Space Sheriffs. Of all the Metal Heroes shows I've seen anything of, those three really came off as the most boring.

If this is a new TV series then I hope for a new VR TV series. Maybe they will bring back B-Fighter Kabuto as well.

I think this is a movie if its not a game. Great, now Toei has a Metal Heroes movie franchise.

This sounds exciting, I really wish it would be a TV show over a movie though. I really enjoyed the Space Sheriffs in SHTZ.

I like how the Metal Heroes are getting some more love. I'm also hoping for a Metal Hero Taisen of some sort so they can have a mech combination with Metal Heroes instead of just Kamen Rider.

We had a Metal Hero Taisen, it was called Super Hero Taisen Z.

If it's a movie then maybe Saban can do a VR Tropers TV movie on Nick. There could be some awesome toys to sell for kids to play with.

Metalder is what VR was adapted from. And why the hell would anyone want more VR? That was terrible enough the first time around :lol

Saban Brands has proven in the past that Power Rangers is the only franchise they care about producing, hence why their Power Rider trademark fell through. They'd never adapt anything Metal Heroes related, past or present, before adapting a rider instead. It's more marketable.

I would totally be down for more Metalder, though. Freaking love that show.

Oh hell yes, the real deal any day over the imitator. An update for a Space Sheriff is what we're looking at though. Let's just hope this doesn't go the Zaido route :o

one of the rumors is that its a V-cinema but that is probably just a random guess.

Man, its so hard to find subs for Metal Heroes, its almost like they're being neglected. So sad. :-(

I think subbers are mostly working in the Sheriff's before they get around to the others. It sucks for sure though. So many of the Metal Heroes need to be fully subbed.

I heard that it'll be a Toei Hero Next thing like the newest one is dealing with Kyoryuger, this one will use Space Sheriff. Not sure if it's true or not.

Story:
Kai is known for his experience and perfect prediction in case solving.
At one point Kai and his partner Sisi has been assigned to earth, to stop the illegal drug "Hyper-M" trade leaded by Neo Madou's General Gaira.
What the others don't know is Kai is taking on a special assigment from Galactic Union Police director Godon.

Tami tries to chase after Sho, but he keeps on hiding from her...

Hmmmmm, I found the new Gavan films to be kinda meh.

It is funny to see Watari Hiroshi and Morinaga Naomi together again.
For those who do not know they were siblings in Spielban, the fifth Metal Hero after Juspion.
Although it is not a new 4th Space Sheriff I am eager to see how this turns out. Great to See Miura and Iwanaga again.

Koichi Sakamoto is directing? I guess we can expect one of two things:

An appearance from Aiyumi Kinoshinta and/or Nao Nagasawa…


ANd legs…lots, and lots of legs.

Either way it should be much better than the Gavan movie, which I believe was the SHT crew of Yonemura and Kaneda.

Edit: Nope, Kobayashi wrote it, not Yonemura. I got the director right, though.

If nothing else, at least the action should be quite good.
