New Power Rangers movie cameos
 

So, what actors do you want to make a cameo in the upcoming movie and what role will they play?

Here's my list.

David Yost (Billy, MMPR) as a math teacher at the kids' school
Amy Jo Johnson (Kimberly, MMPR) as a singer
Walter Jones (Zack, MMPR) as a street dancer
Johnny Young Bosch (Adam, MMPR) as a counselor
Paul Schrier and Jason Narvy (Bulk and Skull, MMPR) as citizens who help guide the other citizens to safety

It would be a lot, lot better to have cameos that extend beyond Mighty Morphin. Bring back Jason Faunt (Wes, Time Force), David de Latour (RJ, Jungle Fury), Matt Austin (Bridge, SPD), or Selwyn Ward (The first Black leader of the Power Rangers).
I just want to see 20 years of Power Rangers be remembered. It doesn't have to be referenced, it doesn't have to be homaged. I just want more than the first 3 years to get a shout out...

I'm actually fine with no cameos whatsoever, partly because I'm worried they'll have to bring JDF in if they do cameos. :lol

Don't worry.
If they don't tell JDF they're doing cameos and keep them a secret until the end, then they won't have enough time for him to complain, then rally fans, and then force them to include him.
...Until it gets released on DVD and includes a "Special, deleted scene" that he forced them to film post release.

Knowing Hollywood, they are only going to bring back people from seasons 1-3.

That's pretty neat. I don't think it'll get far considering he was Disney so Saban has probably never heard of the guy, but neat nonetheless~

Sort of, except we make it secretive to ensure he doesn't get written in :p

This cannot be easy. Personally, I considered Paul (Bulk) in a cameo as a cop talking to New Bulk and making some reference about New Bulk's actions that also corresponds to a breach of the "fourth wall" (him essentially speaking more to the audience than anything). I don't see how Amy or Johnny would consider this again. Jones or Yost are on the "Maybe List". Karen (Aisha) might do it if they offered enough. Sadly, this might all lead right back into the whole "I'm not doing the Super Megaforce thing because I'm not getting enough to justify doing it" argument. JDF is becoming a bit of a stickler on the matter and we already know that he did do the whole Super Megaforce thing, so maybe leave him out for the time being. Some of the other recurring characters might be a good idea. What about Miss Applebee?

The SMF thing was because a trip from New Zeland and back costs so much. If they film in California they could have a lot of the actors back.

Sorry for bumping this thread, but while searching for a GD sort of thread for the new movie (kinda surprised there doesn't appear to be one) I found this and since cameo roles were something I was planning on posting about, I figured bumping this couldn't hurt.

Anyways, the two I most want to see in the movie are Jason Narvy and Paul Schrier. Tommy and Adam will always be my favorite Rangers, but Bulk and Skull might be my two favorite PR characters. They could easily be cops or firefighters. Either way I do like the idea of them lecturing their younger counterparts, or possibly even being their fathers.

Id love to see Bulk and Skull as Police or Fire, but not if theyre gonna be goofy as hell

I honestly don't think they would go too goofy with them. At least not goofy enough to utilize their theme anyways.
