It's likely a car theme Rider show. Funny how I mention a car theme Rider show a while back on this forum to be the next Rider show after Gaim and it turn out to be true lol.

People have talked about the speculated car theme for a long time. It's been rumored more than once over the years.

So the gimmick is going to be a tire rotation and a lube job? Oh my, this'll have to air after hours.

I can see it now...

"Seven spokes on the tire... THE PATTERN CONTINUES!!!!!!1!!" :lol

I guess the gimmicks will be wheels that they put in the belt and you use the driving stick shift to transform.

But aren't Riders defined by their bikes?

When i hear Kamen Rider Drive, i think of a golf themed Rider. Which makes me laugh.

I wonder if Drive will make a cameo in the Gaim summer movie? At least it's not a Zombie theme Kamen Rider show. I want the Zombie fad to die already.

Maybe in the next Super Hero Taisen movie that they can have Drive team up with the Turborangers, Carrangers and Go-ongers.

I literally said 2 years ago they should've done an Akibranger style parody for Kamen Rider called "Kamen Driver". I totally came up with that and now we get Kamen Rider Drive :lol

His turning into a motorbike sucked so bad visually, but a Primary Rider focused around speed sounds pretty cool to me.

So I guess his belt will be called the " Driver Driver".

Wait....what if Bandai replaces the fruit of Gaim with cars and trucks? Oh my god the AC figures would be amazing.

I guess you could call it Car-Man Rider.

I'm not gonna judge this till we know the exact usage of the word Drive. It has quite a few different meanings. I wouldn't mind a vehicle based one,but to me that would feel kinda sentai-ish.

Not once did we think Gaim would be about fruit till they announced it. We couldn't speculate Wizard would be about rings. And Fourze being space based with switches?

All I'm saying is there isn't much to go off of just based on a name. That's why I'm waiting till we get a solid idea of what it means,but I am really excited.

At first, I thought the show was going to be called "Kamen Rider Dive". A marine life Rider show would be cool.

And thus a new generation of puns emerge...

Well sounds cool, but I don't want Gaim to end though.

Oh well it is just my first weekly KR, so I might get used to the current ending.

Now Drive sounds pretty cool, and I just would like to see if we will get multiple riders again, since I like more than just like 2.

Given how well they made fruit work I think t hey can make a Car or Bike themed rider work, for various forms they could always use wheels or even grill plates if its car themed. Either way as long as keep up the show quality I will be happy.

Checking the records, it looks like we got this news about two weeks earlier than last year.

Some folks are taking that as further proof that Gaim's a short series. But keep in mind that Gaim started two weeks LATER than a Rider show would and its right back to normal.

Interesting name, but I'm not going to assume anything about the nature of the show just yet. We've had some literal Riders before (Wizard), but we've also had some more abstract ones (Blade wasn't based on a sword, he was based on a combination of a beetle and spades, his name coming from the suits in a tarot deck). It could be card themed, it could be disk themed (disk drive), it could be based on sushi, for all we know. Remember, "Gaim" means something like "armor" or "armored warrior" and we ended up with dudes wearing bananas and acorns.

Faiz belts are called Gears.
It doesn't have to be Drivers.

They've been using Driver consistently since at least Decade, though. I think it's become the official term for belts in the Neo Heisei era. It's totally going to be the "Drive Driver." Unless they go the Wizard rout and combine the two names. "Driviver," anyone? :lol

We can all agree that Gaim is gonna be a tough act to follow.

I think the Gaim is losing its amazing sheen that seems to wow everyone (even me) but I still think the next series will live up to it.

If they're sticking to the current naming scheme for the Belts, I have to wonder what its gonna be called in the next show.

Because the first thing that comes to my mind is Drive Driver:lol

How about "Car Driver" for Drive "Stick Shift Driver" for the secondary LOL.
