AC13 Arms Change Gaim Kiwami Arms revealed!

The toy duplicates the cast off feature as shown in magazine scans by including a set of dummy Kachidoki Armor!

Hmm, interesting! So Kiwami is like a base form that can put on armor at will? My impression is that he'll be able to cycle between all the arms.

I'll be honest, the Cast-Off Kachidoki armor doesn't look all that good. Hopefully, the ones from the Kachidoki Arms figure will be able to work on this.

Why does it really need to look good? This dummy kachidoki armor serves its purpose by being removable. If you want a good Kachidoki then just buy the real one.

And the only way this guy could wear the other arms is if he has those square shoulder indentations to attach armor to. Even then, shoving the real kachidoki on top of it makes little to no sense. That won't change the color of the base body suit, or change the head sculpt, or anything else for that matter that the dummy armor doesn't already do/hide before being cast off.

I know, I just think the gimmick here should look good on it's own.

I completely get your point but from the pictures we've seen kiwami doesnt have the normal fruit drop down gimmick on top of the head rather kiwami needs to start off as kachidoki arms before he can henshin into his final form (meaning he cant skip the intermediate change starting from human). I am not beating up on you hell I wish it were different too but atleast they did this gimmick the best that they could. To be honest it reminds me of a wizard WAP figure it stands on its own and no other fruit can plop on this base figure

People are buying this to have a Kiwami Arms…so why would the Kachidoki Armour, something you need to set aside for the gimmick to work need to look good?

Makes sense. This is the Arms Change line and that's how he transforms to Kiwami in the show.

I do hope he comes with at least some of the AC weapons so he can stand alone as a figure.

Wow next month is the last release? So nothing in July or August? Well makes sense considering the rumors of the show ending earlier than most.

The figure looks okay, may need to grow on me.

What the holy hell Bandai. This is how the awesome toy line gimmick ends, by complete ignoring the awesome toy line gimmick. Should've stopped at Kachidoki Arms...

Looks pretty sweet imo, though I wouldn't completely count the ability to use previous armor out yet on the toy, we haven't seen a good close up on t he figure where we can see the peg holes or not and its possible the pointed part of the helmet is a slide on cover like the other helmets.

That proves nothing. WAP Wizard Infinity (the counterpart to the AC line) was released in June. This damn rumor is getting damn annoying.

The complaints about a toy that accurately represents the suit gimmick are getting pretty annoying as well. It casts off armor to reveal the true final form below it. Clearly they couldn't have built that and a color changing body suit into AC Kachidoki. So it warrants a new figure with it's own gimmick. Makes perfect sense to me.

Now does the DX Kachidoki lock seed have the ability to be opened via the key to become the Kiwama lock seed or do you need to buy a separate toy for that as well?

That's one thing that bugs me a bit with this particular gimmick. If you are going to have the previous lock and armor become the next, I shouldn't have to buy an all new toy to replicate that, I want one that does what it does in the show ya know?

From turning the ket on Kachidoki it appears that Kiwami is used for all its henshin sounds, but Kachidoki is still used for "squash, au lait, and sparking" Not sure how much Kiwami will be used though.

Indeed. The new DX Kiwami Key will unlock the secondary faceplate on the Kachidoki Lock Seed. You won't need a new Kachi.

and even if you missed out on Kachidoki there is a DX Kachidoki and Kiwami set coming out around the same time as Kiwami's lockseed.

Huh I did not like it when it was first shown to be a cast-off armour but the toy reveal has me digging it, the toy captures the look and gimmick perfectly and I love the Kiwami design, my only hope is that it has the ability to use Kachidoki Arms so i can display him with the best version for the what 3 seconds it would be in that form. on the other hand i might never use it so i could take a crack at painting it to look a bit better, this also reminds me of the Gaim that came with Watermelon a mostly unpainted only focused on the gimmick version of a prior toy.

It looks like this confirms there aren't indentations on the shoulders to attach other fruit Arms. And it doesn't appear the helmet section is NOT removable either as with the other figures. The visor isn't set back into the helmet like it is on figures which have the swap ability. So it's safe to say this toy doesn't have any of the usual change gimmicks. Then again based on this forms premise, it shouldn't anyway.

It's too bad it isn't compatible with the previous Arms. It makes sense that it wouldn't be since that's not the point of Kiwami, but the armor swap gimmick is what made the line fun. Makes this an easy pass for me.

Well, pretty cool gimmick for the figure at least! I guess Kiwami arms isn't really an Arms Change and is just it's own thing.
