So here's a teaser from Tokyo Toy Show that I don't know what to make of.

It seems that Premium Bandai will be releasing a ToQOh for 12,000 yen, running the text through google translate I get "Super Alloy" as part of the title.

So it could be possible that Bandai might be remaking a ToQOh with some new diecast parts.

So... basically what BOA is doing with the Legacy line?

Oh wow, I didn't even realize that was the Dark Liner robos!

We're getting a DX shadow line Robo?! WOW! We haven't had something like this since magiranger.

VERY interesting but would have wished for even further development - elbows, hips, knees, wrists, etc?

The only good thing from this is that there is a Dark Liner Robo, but the ToQoh. It's already a bland toy, so getting a more expensive version is just stupid.

I'd worry about Balance issues on the ToQOh to be quite honest, also, once you start using the other resshas, the only diecast left would be the shoulder rails

I'm more curious about what they do with the Dark Liner Robo, but looking at that ToQoh teaser it literally looks like the DX toy with a few new pieces slapped on.

All of my yes.

Had it been literally any other Super Sentai mecha from the past 10 or so years I'd be all over it.

But 12,000 Yen for ToQ-Oh, who is amazingly unremarkable even with more paint apps and die-cast?

Darkliner Robo gets my interest though.

DX ToQ-Oh with some die-cast? Pass. Would have been all over it if they had at least added some articulation. Oh, well.

Things like the Shadow Line are what will make me start collecting DX mecha. Good going Bandai.

Die cast ToQOh sounds good too. Although I still need to pick up a basic one at some point.

Am I going crazy, or is the left section of the display advertising extra elbow pieces for Toq-Oh?

Oh they do have hinges on them? Excellent, I initially thought they were just solid pieces at angles.

I thought GekiTouja had elbows? Darn it doesnt, well at least most all of Gao does.

GekiTouja's arms are locked in a "bent elbow" stance. He doesn't actually have articulation.

Well, I'm glad I wasn't just inspiring false hope there....

Hopefully the elbows don't end up being chogokin-exclusive. I'm buying a metal train man either way, but I'll still need plenty more elbows.

Shadow robo will be bought if becomes train.

i all ways saw this as a thing when i grew up i played with little toy metal trains so seeing metal version of this was going to fun onwards and up wards i need to save

Update time! Seems like the Chogokin will have an adaptor that will work with the DX toys, looks like there'll be a seperate LED Rail set too:

Anyone else notice that iffen you get two sets of 'elbow' joints you can attach a pair backwards on the legs and get knees?

But how many knees do you kneed?

It's kinda strange seeing Premium Bandai take notes from from third party Transformers companies ala Crazy Devy.

I don't have ToQ-Oh, but I want this. Seeing an upgrade set like a third party would do from the official manufacture is almost surreal in a way. If I wasn't already invested in Gaim I would be all over this, but atlas I have to worry about getting Premium Riders for now.
