I'm talking about everyone who changed into Rokugou this episode. Akira had some surprisingly fun comedy moments as well.

Unexpectedly hilarious episode.

After two pretty lackluster episodes, this definitely got things going again. Zed snapping and the appearance of Nijino Akira was definitely interesting.

I loved the action. It was fantastic. And it seems to me that Akira is more a try-hard badass than actual badass. His backstory is hilarious.

Oh and that first henshin was glorious.

That alternated funny and drama well.

And ToQ 6's music... I was amused. Anyone remember Lionel's Traintown? It sounded like some of the BGM from that!

I dropped this show right before the Fire and Police Resshas were introduced as the show was slumping for me. Now the sixth is here, I'm really interested in tuning in again, will I be okay just jumping back in here or has something crucial happened in the five or so episodes I skipped that I need to catch before watching this?

Only some character development for the ToQgers and one Shadow monster that was around for two episodes.

Meaningful development? Half of my problem with this show is despite the heavy character focus nothing was actually being gleaned from it all.

You've literally missed no meaningful development at all. Nothing of significance, of true significance, has happened since Cho ToQ Oh was introduced.

Good to know, will jump right into seventeen when it's subbed then!

Yeah it wasn't anything meaningful in the least bit but it was something.

I can assure you that you have missed nothing. The only character development that's happened has been with Shwartz. All you need to know is that he is even more of a badass then we perviously thought.



ToQ-6's into ep is really well done. I love the fact that he has a brooding harmonica and a rain storm that follows him around. I mean the ToQgers where fighting shwartz in the bright sunlight and not 20 feet away stood Mister Mopey Pants in his rain storm.

I think ToQ 6Gou aka Akira Nijino is more Anti-Hero than ToQgers because he doesn't want to help them and want to die because he committed a sin when he work for Shadow Line

I think Shadow Line is more threatening and badass villain group than Deboth

They have yet to show their true colors. This was just Episode 17, so anything can still happen.
Besides, so far, Deboss already tried to destroy the planet. So far, the Shadow Line is just collecting darkness so far.

I absolutely loved this episode.

I completely adore how this show takes familiar Sentai tropes and just keeps turning them on their heads :lol
Learning about Akiras motivation was just pure gold. Rights reaction was pretty much mine the entire time. Its so great how Akira takes such a non-threatening ability so damn serious :lol

The whole thing about who will turn into ToQ 6Gou was also brilliantly done and the pay off was completely worth it. Sometimes I get the feeling Kobayashi is reading all the message boards so he can work stuff like that into the show :lol

Zed keeps being one of my favorite things about this show. Finally a show in which Kengo Ohkuchi can show what a damn fine actor he is. The Guy keeps getting more menacing from episode to episode and I love it.

Oh god, this episode keeps getting better the more I watch it. This is a whole new level of amazing xD

Love how Kobayashi keeps making fun of all the old tropes here and how Akira is just overly serious about nothing. Can't wait for the next episode <3

This is quite easily the best episode of ToQGer so far, can't wait to hear the full version of ToQ6's theme song either.

I really liked this episode, hopefully the rest of the show will be this good. Also Ticket as Roku-Go was fantastic.

Can't you believe that Conductor and Ticket have against Akira Nijino!

How Akira get a job at Rainbow Line without ever spoke to Conductor and Ticket! Or maybe he kindly spoke with "Higher Ups"

Anyway. Akira Nijino will become my favorite ToQgers ever (While Hikari is second favorite because he have my favorite color, Green, Mio is third favorite because I love Tomboy. My least-favorites ToQgers. Right is okay, he just doesn't take a stuff seriously (Hoping Yasuko Kobayashi put a BIG revelation for Right, If Right get character development, I might like him. Tokatti is Shinken Blue of ToQgers because they're smart but FOOL (I guess Yasuko Kobayashi HATE color Blue). Kagura is my least-favorite ToQgers, She's not that interesting character, She's too young to be childhood friend of Tokatti (11 years apart). I blame Toei for this. Toei is a perverted company hired YOUNG GIRL. Kagura is 16!)

Anyway. I would love to listen ToQ 6Gou's theme song! I love the design of him because he's look like a knight!

Great episode. Why can't the rest of the series be as good as this episode was?

That was fun. I love how Zaram acts all cool and brooding, but is really kind of a dork. :lol

First time I watched this show in like two months, missed the theme more than the show. :lol So Schwartz now wants to rule the world through trains? What does that even mean?

Anyway speaking specifically of the episode, it feels like more of what I remember of the show, only turned up to eleven with an episode that was overall very silly - and mostly pretty amusing - but spotted with surprisingly cool moments. Which I guess isn't overall a bad thing, the energy is high and when the comedy hits it's usually pretty funny but the show does seem to try and force laughs unnecessarily and for a show that requires a careful balance of tones... it isn't exactly careful about it.

The introduction for Toq 6 - and the suit in general - was AWESOME but the real fun for me is the more subtle effects, like when he transformed pushing the rain aside as a rainbow arced behind him. It sounds silly writing it down, but the execution and the context of it was awesome.

I dunno, overall I enjoyed the episode, definitely want to tune into more but I dropped the show once and nothing in this episode tells me I wont drop it again.

Ticket and Conductor dont own the Rainbow Line dude. They work for other people just like Akira does. They have no real say in who works for the Rainbow Line and who doesnt.

Great debut for the 6th ranger, I really like Right in this episode, it really shows how innocent and compassionate he is, and so full of optimism while still have a head on his shoulders (regarding Akira's back story, which is hilarious). I also like how they break the 4th wall constantly.

Hilarious?! Okay I got admit that I found him become hero by seeing Rainbow is silly idea! It kindly like Den-O one. I hope Akira make ToQgers more improvement because he could have potential of become The Best Sixth Ranger. I glad they went a Hardcore Loner Sixth Ranger instead typical Comic Relief like Gokai Silver and Kyoryu Gold.

And as for Right? I just hope Yasuko kobayashi (The Head Writer of ToQgers) will pull a REVELATION of Red Ranger and add another Red Ranger.

You're kidding right? Hardcore loner? Where are you getting this from? If a monster turned human from seeing a rainbow with his own personal storm cloud isn't comedic then I don't know what would be.

Not just that but he acts so serious about it too. His powers as a Shadow Kaijin were so incredibly silly and non-threatening but he acts like he commited the greatest atrocities known to man :lol

Why would you want another red ranger?
