I've liked so far how they've introduced each new form into the series, but I have to wonder how the Imagin were turned into energy to begin with. If they're invaders from the future, then why come only halfway to 2007 to have to go further back?

It also seems like each new Momo-tachi that comes on is not really any more powerful than the other, just differently attributed.

Owner is just strange. I originally thought he was Ryutarou's future self. Now I'm not so sure. And I have a mad crush on Hana.

To be honest, I skipped episodes 11 and 12 last week. I rewatched the early part of Den-O not that long ago and this part of the series really doesn't hold up that well to multiple rewatches. The whole thing of taking four episodes to introduce each new Imagin really makes the early part of the show drag, although that might also just be "two-episode arc" fatigue leftover from Fourze and Wizard, too. Either way, the Ryutaros episodes are a ton of fun and I'm looking forward to getting back into this.

Don't like Gun Form.

I do. It took a while to grow, but it's just neat.

That vomiting fish has to be the weirdest Imagin so far.

It's not Gun Form I don't like, but Ryutaros. I just never really was sold on him. Maybe it's the child like way he carries himself. He became tolerable to me over time but I really didn't care for him early on.

Before I saw Ryuutaros, I thought he was some kind of badass villain. He was dark, threatening looking, but looked semi-sophisticated with the white gloves, tied hair and the coat look. So of course he's nothing like that.

I sometimes feel that Japanese stuff tends to misplace characters to designs. Momotaros and Kintaros pretty well suit their designs, but nothing about Uratros really implies what he's like, and Ryuutaros could not be more different. He's also just plain obnoxious, and is absolutely a tired archtype "child" character. Just because you bounce a lot does not make you a "kid."

But Double-Action Gun Form is just a cool song.

Yup. It makes you want to dance. Just like all of his sudden random backup dancers :lol.

Yeah, Ryuutaros is annoying. He's not really a kid, he sounds more like a teenager whose gone into self-denial about his age. He's not a little kid, he's a teen having a midlife crisis! (Just repeated the same thing.) As for design, I didn't find him that cool-looking. He looked a little too...shiny. The head looks cool, but the rest of the body looks like it was made from recycled material on the spot.
But, hey, who am I to judge? Some people might grow to like him...and I'm not including me because I already watched the whole series. And now I'm suppressing the urge to post spoilers for the whole series. (Hana is Airi's daughter. :D)

Seriously man. I edited your post with spoiler tags but please please don't come into the weekly discussion thread and ruin future spoilers for people who haven't seen this show. That's a big bomb you dropped, and I hope not many people saw it.

So how's it going to work when we get to the point that Ore Tanjou happens (between episode 27 and 28) when episode 27 will be in one week and episode 28 in another? Or did you plan this already with the movies in mind?

Just like with the other LWW segments we always splice the movies in where they take place in the story. So yeah we;ll be watching Ore Tanjou where it naturally belongs.

Yeah, too late. I was nine episodes to the end, and saw that post. Spank you very much Azurath. I bet you're just a peach at movies. It also can't be retroactively spoilered from the thread when it's put in as a news page item and then modified apparently.

It's not going to stop me from finishing watching it, but that was a serious #$$#$ thing to do for those of us who haven't seen this series before. (I'm going to edit this here, I'm not calling you names, just venting. I can totally accept it if it was by accident, since not everyone knows how to make spoiler tags in their posts. Let's make this more amusing....your spoiler....has made me cry.)

Keeping on topic, watching this made me go back to also watch episodes 14&15 of Decade. That all makes so much more sense now, and even more appreciative that they got some of the actors back for those episodes.

So this is the third time I've seen this episode (my rewatch stalled after the next arc). For the life of me, I still have no idea how throwing in a giant monster battle somehow got the old man and the kid to the vet faster. Or how the critical, puppy-saving medical device is apparently just a stethoscope. :confused:

I think that moment with the puppy was a "Boomer will live" moment. :lol
