So that's the main 5 keys of

- Super Mega Force
- Mega Force
- Samurai
- Mighty Morphin

Not a bad selection I suppose. Though, the 3 most recent teams plus original team is jarring. Instead of recent they should have packed in some of the more classically popular teams.

Well, I guess we should be grateful they gave us some more female ranger keys outside of Super Megaforce. I wonder if they plan on a set with all the teams' Sixth Rangers.

So 6 keys we havent had before, but $80 for this? Meh. Ill gladly skip :lol

Too bad I'd only want MMPR Pink and Yellow from this.

The female Rangers being included is fantastic, even if the jump to MMPR when the rest are new seasons is a little odd.

If this set is easily available, I might finally decide to get the Legendary Morpher. I've been hesitant on getting it before because I wasn't keen on collecting all the BOA ranger keys and already have the BOJ Legends Mobirate. This looks like a nice set to get full sets of teams I like (mainly Super Megaforce, Samurai and MMPR).

At the point you have to pay $80 for a Legendary Morpher just to get a few keys you may not have, plus a bunch of duplicates, I honestly don't know why someone wouldn't just get a DX Mobirate. At these prices you could easily get one and a number of the cheap BOJ keys packs which sell for mere dollars.

People always make the argument that the relatively lower price of BOA toys makes them "better" than their original counterparts. In this instance that argument falls flat and the BOJ release is a better toy. So I just don't get it.

I would be jumping on this if I didn't already have a Legendary Morpher. I'm okay with duplicate keys, but another morpher is kinda unnecessary. I just wish we got some big key packs, even if they were TRU exclusives. The female keys have been a lot sloppier than I'd hoped.

With the whole BOA vs BOJ debate, I think it just boils down to "you get what you paid for". While BOA are definitely not as great quality wise, you pretty much are paying a quarter of what you pay for BOJ stuff after shipping. Especially as PR stuff is always on sale at TRU.

I get that. But by the time you pay $80 for this set you could have easily gotten the better toy in the Mobirate for about the same price or less and picked up extra keys. The price vs quality thing doesn't pan out in this case. That's all I'm trying to say.

For people who want to collect teh BOA keys, more power to them. But it saddens me they have to buy a bunch of duplicates and another morpher just to do that.

And I'm just sat here thinking "wow, the original release morpher isn't even out here yet" :lol

I honestly wouldn't mind buying this since I've held off on buying the morpher (which is hard to find in my area, and I haven't seen any of the key 3-packs). Yes, the BoJ version would be leaps and bounds better but I already have some of the keys from buying the zords (with Super Megaforce Red being the only duplicate, and even then it's a clear variant).

If I saw this pack on sale, it'd be tempting to try to collect the BoA keys and morpher. I've been good and fought off the urge to buy the morpher & get more keys so far...

This pretty much sums up my thoughts on this. I rarely buy Sentai/Power Rangers stuff besides the occasional Zord, and I just go with BoA because I don't have enough interest in it to begin with to justify the BoJ price (and I admittedly also get a kick out of Zord Builder!). In this case though, there's absolutely no reason to not buy the BoJ version since the usual BoA benefit of lower price is basically nullified.

If I ever got a pirate phone, it'd be the BoJ version, not because of anything you brought up, but because I just hate hearing Gosei's voice.

I only have red and green from this set. So I guess this could be cool, on sale.

Thsi would be a sale item I would wait... or just finding overstocks of these in Ross.

This set isn't really a set sold under for collector's point of a view, but for the kids. This set reads ultimate xmas or bday gift all over. It was never aimed at making us collector's happy. A three pack of keys ranges from $8 to $9, for just three. This one has a whole bunch and the morpher. Also, these will shelfwarm at places and be discounted.

Especially when the a-holes and little brats steal the keys out of the package.

Yeah, hopefully by then it doesn't happen to every single one and I think it'll be easier to find this new morpher for at least $40-something.
