GAH! Why do we have to wait another week for Melon Epicness >_<. They just had to end this episode on that one note >_<

Can't wait for the subs, there were quite a few important conversations, especially at the end. Next week's episode is what I'm really looking forward to though, I'm excited for the return of regular Zangetsu.

On another note, I'm glad Micchy realized that he'd be a more imposing villain if he upgraded to a black suit instead of his trademark tacky sweaters. :lol

Aaaand thus Micchi has raised the flag of death. It might just be a matter of time now. Especially after what Takatora said in the preview, next episode might be his last.
And noooo, what's gonna happen to the captured members of Team Gaim and Kouta's sister???

It just aired in Japan. Subs will be out tomorrow or Monday.

Missed the stream, but from all the previews and scans of the next episode that I've seen, Kouta is going to BEAT Micchy something fierce. I can not miss the next episode, it looks too good to miss.

I think next week they pause the show to do a promo for the AU Gaim movie. Because that needs to happen.

The fight pretty much stops at around that point.

No actually they don't. They had a preview for the next sequential episode. If it had been another movie tie-in ep it would have had a preview for that just like the episode before the kikaider one had a preview for it. If it turns out that next weeks episode has some kind of movie tie in then that's fine. But that episode is the Zangetsu Vs Shin Zangetsu fight we've been waiting for. So it's all juicy TV plot goodness.

In the next episode preview, Takatora jumps in between Kouta and Micchy while Kouta is de-henshined and Micchy is still in Zangetsu Shin.

The logical timeline would be:

Gaim & Zangetsu Shin fight
Zangetsu Shin de-henshins Gaim
Takatora interrupts to stop Micchy
Micchy flips out on Takatora
Takatora follows Micchy
Zangetsu Shin vs Zangetsu

We already know the winner. It's just going to be fun to watch!

Oh, good. I hope that means we aren't getting that episode after all.

Intense episode! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. They did a good job with the apocalyptic setting (really sold on it when Takatora was walking through the city) and the stuff with Mitchi was crazy.

The whole episode had my heart-racing, from his confrontation with Mai to revealing himself to Kouta. That was.... that was intense.

Can't wait for next week!

I hear the movie tie-in episode is 37 which is the week after next.

Yeah my feelings exactly.

I just generally haven't had a problem with the team up episodes. The ToQger one was fun enough. The Kikaider one was ridiculous kinds of crazy, very enjoyable to me at least. I'll take an actual Gaim movie tie-in.

I'd prefer the show's actual plot. I've been waiting years for a show that brings back tighter plotting, but Toei seems determined to throw random promo episodes into the mix. It's extremely annoying.

As for me, I didn't like the Kikaider episode because it wasn't all that exciting and I don't really care all that much for Kikaider, but I loved the Toqger crossover (admitted though, it had much better placement in both shows then the Kikaider episode). Though I do hope we get a lot of actual plot until then, I'm pretty interested in the movie tie-in, because I want to see what they do with it and how they'll place it in the canon of the series. So far, all movie promos were canon episodes, after all.

We've only gotten two, so it's not that bad, although I will admit, the Kikaider one brought the show's plot to a grinding halt.

The ToQGer episode was fun, but I did not like the Kikaider episode one bit.

The kikaider episode was particularly boring because it was just GO SEE MY FILM YOU PEASANTS and it was weird hearing being called the legendary hero when the film is meant to be a reboot.

Anywho, can't wait for the subs, the last few moments were really intense, I like how Kouta said Mictch the Bitch's full name at the end, like a great sign that things are getting real. Also put me in the camp of thinking that this episode was going to take Taketora down the road of inoue, I'm so glad that his ninja skills were top notch this episode and he managed to eavesdrop on most of the conversations meaning there won't be anymore of that misunderstanding willy nilly.

Ahhhh where are the subs? :(

And I still don't get the hate for the Kikaider episode. I preferred it of the 2 crossovers. It was all kinds of silly fun. Like" im gonna become an evil cyborg, for science!" kind of fun. Just my kind of goofy fun episode.

Anyway...I don't understand why the King was so quick to be like "Nope, Sagara was wrong, I'm destroying y'all anyway!" It kinda sucks that at the beginning Takatora thought that Ryoma had brought Kouta to his side, but it looks like he knows now that that isn't the case...IK wish that he had gotten to Kouta before Micchy though. During that scene I was like "Come on Takatora...go go go go go" *Micchy shows up* "Aw man!" I also watched last week's episode...man crap REALLY hit the fan these last two episodes. I am really looking forward to the Melon brawl next week. I just really hope Takatora wins, because the dialogue shown in the previw basically said it could go either way. Also, in the preview it shows Takatora looking away while he's slashing at Micchy, so I'm thinking he wins, but chooses not to finish him off. I just hope Micchy doesn't take that opportunity to kill Takatora...
