New Legacy Titanus Image
Did some digging in the new card scanner app update, and look! New Legacy Titanus image!

That's... a lot of stickers.
|
Stickers? I thought that was supposed to be painted?
I'll probably pass on him regardless as I believe his price is supposed to be $150+. Also, he won't be able to fit in my Detolf. |
Oooh, looks nice.
Shame I can't afford it. |
I always wanted Titanus but never got one, I might go for this. Depends on the price though.
|
He's $199.99.
|
Dunno if that's a finished Titanus, but the gold looks flat in both the decals and everywhere else on him. The $199.99 is still ridiculous. I'm pretty sure eBay going rate for a complete Titanus is still less than that.
About 6 months ago I got a boxed complete Titanus with unapplied decals for far less than that. It wasn't even a "Return of", either! |

$200 could afford me almost three Masterpiece Transformers car Autobots. For Titanus...I just don't think I have the desire to pay that much.
|
For $200 I would expect less stickers!
I can't believe BoA are actually pricing this more than Hasbro's Masterpiece Optimus Prime, Soundwave or even Generations Metroplex. Its absolutely ridiculous. The success of the Legacy line has clearly gotten to their heads and their trying to push their greed to see how far people are willing to go. There is no way Titanus would ever be worth that, even with the die-cast. |
$200 is a lot, but that's the same price that you would get for buying Bragigas on most websites. I would imagine he would be worth the price and hoping the stickers won't be a mess.
|
$200 is over priced unless every single thing is sculpted and painted and not stickers like it looks in those pictures.
I'll just wait for him to go on clearance for half price. |

And Bragigas is a different caliber of toy entirely so there's no comparison to be made in this situation anyway. |

In fact here's one for 5000 yen before shipping right now. So again, please stop misleading people without all the facts. |

Bragigas for $200! Yeah right.
I've seen him go for 2500-6000 Yen before shipping on Mandarake and jungle, so $90 TOPS after shipping. Don't put in ridiculous prices and act like they're the norm. I collect JP Robots and I have NEVER spent over $120 on any of them. |

While he looks nice, I don't plan to buy this. From what I can remember, Titanus hardly did much. I always felt like that he was just there. I recall Brachion hardly did much in Zyuranger. Titanus to me felt like that he was just there.

Might be to soon to blame Bandai here. This might be TRU with the huge price point. I only say this because I've seen the gasp inducing prices that some other exclusives at TRU have been priced at right out of the gate. Like the 250 dollar BMF. A toy a paid 60 for back in 2006 and they didn't change a thing other then packaging. This might not be Bandai greed, but TRU greed. Or it might be them pricing it high, so that when they turn around and put it on "sale" for 120 you'll think you are getting a deal even though that's probably what he should have been from the start. They love pulling that kinda stuff.
|
It looks really nice, but that's a ridiculous price.
I still have my original Titanus anyways. |
Titanus legacy now at BBTS! They have like 10 left now.
