I believe that I will pass on this figure. I don't like the look of it. At all.

I'm actually curious to see how the "cast off" gimmick will work out.

I don't think it looks too bad, but I'll still pass. I'm not interested in the cast-off gimmick and I've kind of stopped with the AC line anyway.

I think it looks great. It accurately accomplishes the gimmick of cast off armor. The argument that the armor doesn't look good enough is kind of dumb considering it's only meant for a quick like 2 seconds cast off gimmick.

It's great that they included it to begin with so we could even have the gimmick replicated in toy form. The ability to use other Arms is also a pleasant feature for this figure. Really looking forward to all the fun swapping I'll be doing with this bad boy in the future.

Imagine Kiwami in Zangetsu's armor and tell me that your mind didn't explode.

Never have been a fan of the AC line or the Kiwami suit, so pass.

I think the AC line is insanely hit or miss, for example I still think AC Baron is one of the most gorgeous toys I own, SHF or otherwise. But for every Baron there is that awful Mango Arms set which takes everything I love about the toy and encases it in an ugly plastic shell.

Meanwhile other designs, although not wholly bad, just don't translate all that well to the budget line. Ryugen looks awkwardly boxy for example, and Zangetsu, who is a Rider defined by refined elegance, looks bulky and clunky in execution. Seeing how that suit appears to be getting mileage again from the show, makes me wish I picked up the SHF.

Some drybrushing with a bit of Runefang Silver and this guy will be aces. But as it is, he really reminds me of the White Inferno armor.

I'll take it.

Also, interesting to see that they made the sword mode DJ Gun a solid piece this time around.

Cant wait for this guy! I cant get his theme music out of my head!

Yay mine will arrive soon =D I love the actual figure but i wish the Kachidoki was not clear, i like the Cast off action but i won't be using it.
I am sort of wishing that they would make a ACWS [Weapon Set] with a second copy of each weapon with a better paint job, including the better DJ Gun from AC13.
