Let the speculation commence! The last photos we thought we saw of Drive turned out out be just a local hero filming.

However these have a bit more credibility to them. So you decide, real or fake? If real, well then Drive is definitely taking a page out of the Metal Hero handbook for his sweet 4-wheeled ride.

Filming should have already begun so I would say its legit.

I would say so as well, and the car certainly fits the theme.

The car looks pretty cool. The Wheels on the trunk though look kinda odd :lol

My theories about that.

1) The car literally flips over on it's back for some sort of high pursuit mode. Some kind of third wheel comes out where the hood is, and the seat within the car rotates so the cockpit is where the bottom of the car was.

2) The extra wheels rotate down and under the rear bumper for some sort of drag racer hyper mode that raises the rear end of the vehicle.

Of course I'm sure they could just be there to look odd/cool as well :lol

The third option could be that the whole back section of the car transforms into his bike :lol

Man, if that's legit the SHF release is going to be pricey as all get out. :lol

If we ever get one. I´m still waiting for my SHF Wizard Dragon :lol

Even though there are wheels on the trunk, after Gaim I refuse to say anything is dumb. Gaim changed the game.

Honestly, the car looks like Ryu's father.

I really want to see the main gimmick for Drive now because that car could be any thing, even KR Drive himself

I hope the secondary Rider has a stick shift as his belt. Seeming as how we give all of the Secondary Riders pathetic belts and upgrades.

Kamen Rider Drive will be Racing Tournament Theme like Speed Racer and will have more Kamen Rider like Gaim one!

Heck! The rumored Civilian identity for Kamen Rider Drive is Seventh! Why he have that name? I don't know! Maybe he's a race car driver! You know he got to have nickname!

What I mean is Post Decade Riders. And the exceptions to the shitty belt rule are the Genesis Riders and Accel.

But seriously, Birth, I love you Gotou/Date, but your belt is a joke functionality wise. Stick a medal in a get something? Defintley not as cool as the OOO belt.

So Drive X Turboranger, Carnager and Go-Onger in the next hero taisen anyone :D!?

The gimmick item will be car keys... calling it
anyway I'm more worried about what voices they will use for the belt.

I kind of don't want another show where we have like 10+ riders. The most I'd take is like 5-6.

What's wrong with 10 Riders? Ryuki was successful because Ouja was popular villain who just love to fight

Gaim is successful too because Bravo is everyone "Love to hate" guy and he's comic relief and everyone love Baron so much that he was given Lemon Energy Arm even he wasn't intend that form.

To be honest. I am not fan of 2 rider thing. Just say Wizard. Supporting cast was bland character, I rarely watch 555 (Faiz) but it didn't interested me because supporting cast was boring.

But if you add more rider. That's difference. 10 Kamen Rider often have different personality you know

Baron is Jerkass Anti-Hero
Ryugen is Villain Bastard
Zangetsu is calm man with anger issues when he battle Rider
Gridon is Butt-Monkey
Kurokage is Hot-Headed guy
Bravo is French Comic Relief
Duke is Mad Scientist
Sigurd is Insane Traitor
Marika is Femme Fatale
Knuckle is Supporting Hero

The thing wrong with ten riders you sort of gave an example for. For most of the Gaim, Ryuki, and Hibiki riders, we only know a thing or two about them. We don't know why they fight. Why are they riders? What are they fighting for? Oh for toys!

Oh my God THANK YOU! I thought I was finally going mad but I'm not alone after all.

There is nothing inherently wrong with a lot of Riders, but the execution has always been a clusterfuck. The core dynamic of a small group of Riders, 1 - 3, has always worked well, and I get for toy reasons moar riders = moar dollah but I don't get the exponential leap in the quantity of Riders. Especially considering in every one of those series the writers were clearly buckling under the weight.

Add an extra one or two Riders if you think you can manage them, but chucking in another ten practically making the whole cast Riders is just overkill for the audience and the writers.

Plot Twist: Drive's car IS the Secondary Rider, and he's an autobot.

I hope it's like Autovajin too.

If he's not in a movie for Drive I am giving up on Kamen Rider forever.

Personally, I hope we get more than two Riders. I don't need as many as Gaim or Ryuki, but I'd really like to have 3-4 main Riders throughout the whole series, maybe with a few minor Riders who show up occasionally. Maybe it's because my first two Rider shows were Agito and Ryuki, but I like having a larger hero cast in a modern Rider show. Mostly, though, it has to do with my biggest fear for Drive:

After Gaim, I really, really, really do not want to see the next Kamen Rider series backslide into the Den-O pattern again: two Riders (one goofy and one serious), non-human sidekick who at least appears to die in the penultimate episode, monster and victim of the fortnight, and goddamn two-episode arcs with very few ongoing subplots. Gaim has been a great breath of fresh air after a period where the show was beginning to stagnate and I do not want Drive to go back to the status quo.

Well Gaim was really really really successful and Heisei Rider history has shown us that toei and bandai will always try to catch lightning twice. So I bet you Drive will be alot like Gaim structurewise.

The Status Quo you described was there because Double was insanely popular so Toei and Bandai did Double four times in a row :lol
Same with the onslaught of Multi Rider shows in the early 2000s when Agito was a giant success. Even Kiva tried to copy Den-O after that show was so popular :lol

Yeah, I am really hoping that, if nothing else, the Armor Change to sales have convinced Bandai and Toei that there are financial incentives to continuing in this new direction.

Multi Rider seems to sell really good right now after we only had two riders per show the last four years. Fourze and Wizard toys didnt sell all that well from what I heard so yeah, the next one should be closer to Gaims model.

I don't want Rider to go back to the two parter format either but we don't need Drive copying Gaim's format.

I know early Heisei had similar structure but it didn't feel obligated to include the same plot points of previous series in the same format like I felt Wizard did.

More than likely, judging from past seasons, this season will be another 2 Rider format show. Main and Secondary. Which is fine with me. What I'd like to see though is something akin to Kiva. Where you had Kiva, Ixa, Saga, Dark Kiva, and so on. More than two Riders but not so many you lose track of who's doing what where and why.

Nothing should ever try to be more like Kiva in any way ever.

What I'm more worried about is the 2 episode arc format returning. Number of riders I prefer to be in the 4+ area, so I am hoping for that. But if blatantly stretched out 2-part stories return man that will suck.

Everything should be Kiva.

I'm hoping that died with Gaim.

I think a number of Riders somewhere in the Faiz/Agito/Blade area would be fine.
