The Dagger is butt-ugly, I hate Bandai for once again proving how sexist it is, and that puffed-chest Dragon Ranger just looks.. no. Is how it looks. And not even that awesome Godzilla can save this lot from being worth anything. Sadly.

Welcome to Bandai of America. Where we don't acknowledge women exist and the only ranger we ever remember is Green and White.

You know, I could forgive the onslaught of needless Tommy-merch. I really could. If they'd just start mass releasing more than just his character. 25 years of Power Rangers and all they celebrate is him.

I voted...JDF (and JDF Accessories) 20 years of a franchise and all they focus on is the Green Ranger and Mighty Morphin'. I thought they got it out of their system in 2010 when they re-aired MMPR. :I

That Godzilla? Yeah, I'd rather have an S.H. MonsterArts.

It's kinda funny. I've been saying how sick I am of Burning Godzilla getting used in exclusives all the time, and that BOA just keeps reusing the Final Wars mold over and over again. The only way it could be worse is if they some how mixed the two, but I never expected them to use a Godzilla from a completely different decade.

But lo and behold, Final Wars Godzilla with a crappy orange paint job. Really? That's the big 60th anniversary SDCC figure BOA puts out? I have a better idea; take the '54 Godzilla and paint it up like the US movie poster Godzilla and instead of a cardboard city display, make it look like the 1955 U.S Poster. There, that would make a good display piece.

But even then, $60 is absolutely ridiculous for a crappy vinyl figure and cardboard. I can't believe they think that thing is worth just $10 less than their own retail Dragon Dagger, I don't care if it is limited.

Speaking of the Dragon Dagger, I don't even need to point out how ugly that thing is, everyone else already has. It probably would help if the Green was also gold, but I can still think of better repaints they could do. How about a Black and Gold Legacy Megazord? Like the Special Edition one release in '94. That would have been awesome. But nope, gotta suck on that dragon dagger some more.


Everything else is just bleh to me. Keys that despite having a nice paint job are still horrible because of the mold, and a SD Green Ranger(Because everything else PR already has freaking green in it, so why not?) Seriously, even the box for the keys has a green star burst, which oddly reminds me of Alien and the 1998 Godzilla toys, but not Power Rangers. At least the effect makes sense on the Dagger, but damn, how much green do we need?

At this point all I can do with BOA is sigh and think of how much of a disappointment they are compared to BOJ...or any company.

BOA is sort of like the kid you tell people is adopted because of what a screw up he is compared to his much more successful brother, and Bluefin is the kid you tell people is your real son.

Wow that was dark... but the selection this year, for me anyway, is either disappointing or just laughably bad. My money is going towards figuarts and other things actually worth their cost.

Needs "the box is neat" option for Godzilla :p

I'm pretty meh on the Ranger stuff. Just more MMPR stuff.
