Talk any thing from the last air bender to legend of Korra.

Ok I just finished reading the promises and the search. Great story that answered few question. The search answered where zuko mother was. And promises showed us how republic city was started.

I have yet to watch Korra season 3.

I never really got the fuss with this franchise. I watched the whole of Avatar and didn't find it really all that impressive until we got Lightning Bending and the considerable increase in the quality of the animation from that point.

I understand that the story is as important as the animation, but early on not only was the animation bad but the story content was pretty childish too. Especially considering how much Avatar fans oversell it.

Korra was a LOT better, with much better animation from the offset and a much more maturer tone that didn't take children for idiots before it decided to test them. Sadly the weird way Korra was aired meant I got lost somewhere along the way. How has the show been developing? Might have to pick it up if it gets a bluray release in the UK.

Everytime they do the opening "Earth, Fire, Air, Water" it always makes me think of the shit-show that was Captain Planet. I half expect them to say "heart". At least they say "air" instead of "wind" but they could have changed the order up on it lol.


There's a reason for that and part of it is the success of Avatar allowing more money towards the animation as time went on and, of course, Korra is in HD. They also had to make Avatar successful in the market before they had freedom to age it up a bit. The first season is still good though.

I just got into Legend of Korra starting with the 3rd season this was the first time watching anything Avatar related and I absolutely love it, my friends watch it with me and they inform me about things I've missed related to Avatar.

A stealth premiere combined with rushing was bound to drop views. Nick wanted this to fail and they succeeded.

It's sad but not uncommon these days since any and all action cartoons tend to die unless they do nonstop childish comedy.

A real pity too as the Avatar series has such a deep and meaningful lore behind it. To think we might see it die like this is heartbreaking.

So is this the last season? Or are they still planning to do one more book?

not a bad episode at all. I liked Zaheer's group before as characters, but this just made it all the more interesting.

Oh my god the first episode of book 4 was well wtf. Also did Korra take she not need to seriously

To clear things up after second viewing on books four first episode. Ok I still not trust kuvira due to the way she handling things, at the same time I can see her trieing to get back all of earth Kingdom not just the section that been taken after the death of the earth queen. I mean Republic city is on earth Kingdom turf so I think so go that one more step and try taken that back as well even if it by force. Korra well I just think she took she not need to seriously and is trying to recover it and found out where she belongs.

I liked the time skip potential, but then the first episode went and did the most predictable time skip thing possible:

Mention a shitton of things that happened in those 3 years and assume we, the unknowing audience, actually know all of those details. Especially with Kuvira and Bolin (why the hell is he with her?!) and just everything about the Earth Kingdom in general.

Yea I agree with you there. At the same Time what she planning on doing is what I think she doing mean Republic city not safe

Yeah this was a definitely interesting episode. I don't understand why Bolin is with her, and I don't trust her at all. I feel so bad for Mako being stuck with Prince Wu, I really hope he runs away from that or something but I think it'll be okay. Opal and Kai I really enjoyed these two this episode but I hated the Bandit because he seemed way to easy for him and I hated that from the last season too. I am interested in what happened to Korra and why she is doing this. I am intrigued with this season though.

I was just looking back in the hole show of Korra and thought what could of they do next due to it felt like there was nothing left to tell and they had told all what the felt need to be told I just thought I cam full circle, also tKe what you will on finale last scene as well.

The creators have confirmed that the ship is now canon!

Geez, and I thought Kirito and Asuna's relationship was rushed and forced.

They barely talked to eachother until this season, then suddenly "Hey! they're a couple!" Also, ONE relationship doesn't work out for Korra, and suddenly she's like "You know what? men suck! I'mma go be a lesbian now! Weee!" Like, it just feels forced, and it feels like they just did it to appease the section of the fanbase that just really wanted to see two girls get it on. Do I think she should have gotten back together with Mako? Eh...probably not. I would have just preferred it if non of these ships had cannons.

Also, I doubt people would be celebrating as much if Mako got together with the prince or some other dude.

Yeah I think confirming the ship is just throwing blinders at how poor the finale actually was but no one will say anything like that because Korrasami.

I started with Legend of Korra season 3 and 4 and as much as I enjoyed them I started watching Avatar from the beginning and loving the hell out of it so much more.

For the record, bisexual != lesbian.

Sorry but for kids teen show this making history and Nick let go as far as they could. Cause I read what they said I think it was a great idea having a bi avatar cause they are both bi they both had boy friends and they had friend ship that built up then became some thing more. I this is fantastic on what they done cause shoes that they were not scared to it and it bout to kid show started to address this.

Also I am big member of this fandom I I did see the hits in the last to book that Bryke mentioned in them like he said you need to rewatch the last to season with out a hetrolens
