ToQGer's Ultimate Combo: Hyper Ressha TeiOh
|
That suit is going to be... complicated.
|
I say what I said in the other thread.
Its absolutely hideous but damn I got to own it. |
... How much is this going to be?
|
Is ToQ 6's ressha in there somewhere? I can't really tell.

I for one, think I love it.
|
Wow, it actually gets all of them in there. Even though it's just tge Resshas and not entirety of the mechas, that's cool. It could look a little better doing that, but still cool. :p
|
But nothing actually combines. Nothing moves, nothing transforms, nothing connects. They just attach like a stickie ball to a velcro dart board. With how it looks I was hoping for some Samurai Ha-Oh action or something like G-12 Explosion. I appreciate them finding a place for every Ressha, but they didn't include all of every Ressha, so you'll still have pieces left over just hanging around. A bunch of bisected trains.
|
Teioh looks pretty cool, but ToQRainbow looks dreadful.
|
If they're translating correctly & TeiOh really does mean "Emperor" then that could suggest the source of this Ressha- and an interesting turn of events in the future...
|
To whoever said it didn't incorporate Hyper Ressha, look again; it's on top of ToQ Rainbow.
As for it being 'Emperor'... Yeah, real subtle guys, but this plot twist kinda works. |
Waaait... if they even threw in Shield, where is Scope?

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the trains included with the role play toys (shield, drill, etc) are made available as just the trains themselves.

I both love and hate it at the same time. It's bonkers and crazy but there's minimal effort put into the giant mode.
Also, at 19.5 inches this thing isn't going to be cheap. |

Imaginative?

I kind of want to see what it looks like when you put Sentai Ressha on it.
|
Pros: Great return to the giant, base-style mecha like Pyramidas and Deka Base Robo.
I love its steam train vehicle mode, that is has a separate robot, and base mode, too. Very much like an improved Deka Base Robo. Looks like you could have fun with the arrangement of the Ressha in the final combo. Like you could have all the previous Sentai Ressha across the chest. Cons: Final combination is just sticking Ressha on it. Final combination also requires you to own the Shield and Drill Ressha to complete it. I think this is my favorite mecha of the series, and one that I might actually have to get the MiniPla for, if it looks good. |
Geez, how big is this gonna be?
I think it actually looks okay for a carrier mech, but it's really rather simple. |
Based on the pic we have the following Resshas:
Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Pink, Build, Shield, Drill, Fire, Police, Diesel, Car Carrier, Tanker Then there appears to be another Ressha on the top of TeiOh's head. It might be the Hyper Ressha. Possible spoilers but more of a theory: Based on the name Teioh, which means Emperor, and the fact that the Ressha is both black and shiny, it can be guess at that Zedd will become the final ToQger on the show. This is only a guess based on what evidence we have an his behavior in the show What I really want to know is when is this thing going to show up because it's been rumored that there will be at least two more support ressha's. So where the heck would they go? |

There will be no new support resshas in this combination. Next to ToQ Rainbow we have a chart with all resshas that will be part of the combination. |
It doesn't really seem like a clusterfuck, just really huge. I like it.

You don't even need the dx versions.

Edit: I derped... Hyper Ressha is the head of the Tei-Oh form, and just sits on top of ToQ Rainbows head. |
This might sound redundant, but Teioh in its terminal form could make a good platform for cho cho toq dai oh, something like king pyramider carrier mode.
|
500mm!? Is that the biggest to date?
|
I love this this thing. I was hoping the final mech would be a Dekabase-esque train station and my wish came true. I don't mind the leftover parts because it makes for a cleaner final formation, and really there is only so much they could have done with these trains.
I'm still under the impression that in Bandai's hopes to appeal to Japanese train fans as much as sentai fans, they designed these mecha so that they maintain the "integrity" of the train. Sure the Ressha make giant robots but they don't break up into complex transformations to do so. They still look like trains no matter what form they are in. I think that is why these trains look more like real trains, as opposed to other sentai train mechs. This final formation looks worlds better than the last few due to its willingness to leave some of the kids at home. Kyoryuger didn't have all it's parts either but that mech system was flawed from the start IMO. I'm a fan and I can't wait for the minipla version. |

While I'm disappointed it's not a whole cluster-fuck mess, I do love carrier mechs so I'm still excited for this. Love the base robot, giant ressha and carrier modes, so still want it. Worst comes to worst, I'll just display Cho-Cho ToqDaiOh and this ressha next to each other. Did we ever figure out what the head split on Cho Toq-Oh is used in? I don't think it's used in a combo so far, so was it something ditched or is there a combo as yet to be seen? |
I kinda like this. On one hand, I wanted a bigass clusterf*ck mecha, on the other, its a cool looking master train that could give King Liner a run for its money.
