The current cartoon is excellent. The upcoming movie looks like horseshit.

Current cartoon is a definite love letter to the original cartoon fans. Fly Baxter, Rocksteady, Bebop, Mutagen Man...and now Napoleon Bonafrog, Mondo Gecko and Muckman are coming, too. I expect to see Wyrm, Dirtbag, and Groundchuck before too long.

Also, a new version of the classic Turtle Van (Party Wagon)! Seeing the toy version...that is exactly how in my mind you update a design of something. It's totally new, but at the same time you can still see the original van in it.

I enjoyed Fast forward.

The theme and title card seems off with the tone of the rest of the trailer. Especially with evil gun Shredder

This makes me wish they just updated "Ninja Rap" from the second movie.

For anyone who hasn't, you need to check out the new toon. It is exactly what Power Rangers should strive to be. Plenty of fun for the kids, but they also throw in more than enough for older fans to enjoy. I think it's hilarious since they are on the same network.

They should update it, and have it be sung by an actual rapper. :lol

And I don't think Galvantula would like having PR become like TMNT, though in all honesty, he'd probably still say it's a major step up.

I didn't say I hated the new TMNT cartoon or PR.

2012 frustrates me because the Turtles didn't seem all that heroic when the show started and while I don't hate Power Rangers I have given up on it ever being good again.

Despite what you may think of me I do still like to enjoy the things I like growing up. I'm not some negative nancy all the time; it's just I've asked MULTIPLE times why this show draws in the viewership 2003 never seemed too and so far it keeps getting ignored.

Also I don't like being treated like I hate everything under the sun or being the dumb one of Tokunation. I have feelings too.

I know you don't hate everything. It's Matrixbeast who hates everything. :lol

All I meant by my original post was that you have qualms with 2012 TMNT and you voice those qualms quite a bit.

And as someone with Asperger's Syndrome, it's a tad difficult to accurately gauge how people feel about stuff sometimes, especially when reading static text.

And to give you a reason as to the popularity of the new cartoon, my theory as to why 2003 doesn't get the love it deserves is this: ad campaigns. If there's one thing Nickelodeon is still consistently good at, it's ad campaigns for their properties. Spongebob Ratings Traps are a good example; they are essentially advertising rotten horse meat as Filet Mignon from a 5 Star restaurant AND getting people to actually eat it.

When it was under 4Kids' control, TMNT was just there. It was still known, it was still watched, it was still bought, but it wasn't taking the world by storm in popularity due to no ad campaigning.

I hope they include the Reptile soundtrack by Skrillex.
