Yeah, something tells me the whole “Discontinuing of Sentai Figuarts” statement was a bunch of BS, just like the “Not releasing Female and Sixth Ranger Keys for Super Megaforce”.

They never said they were discontinuing Sentai figuarts. You're probably thinking of that collector site that Bandai ended. A lot of people mistook that for Sentai cancellations.

That said, totally getting both. Vul Eagle just adds to the Sentai reds I still need to get and with ZO shown, that leaves us with one rider left on both the Showa side and Heisei side. He looks lovely.

You need Sentai figuarts in order to have Power Rangers figuarts, so the line coming back is a really convenient announcement. Even if its not a Ranger from a PR series, the fact that Bandai gives a fuck is a great thing to hear pre-morphicon

I could see that idea if we got a Sentai Figuart announced that was post-Zyu/had a ranger counterpart. But one thats from a Sentai completely away from Rangers, I dont see it.

I'm also going to just take a guess that Vul Eagle will probably be retail and ZO will be an exclusive.

I expected him to be an exclusive too, but he lacks the web shop logo in the magazine scans that just came out...

I won't be getting Vul Eagle. No point in beating around the bush there. I have zero interest.

But the fact that he's getting made - that Super Sentai Figuarts aren't dead - is something everyone should be celebrating right now.

Most of the time what us western fans think that isn't good, Japan actually love.

I'm assuming the same can be said for Sun Vulcan.

They also love Kamen Rider Wizard over there too, and Wizard here gets a lot of flame.

Well the Sun Vulcan suits always looked awesome to me, but I don't care for them.

ZO to me was a pretty good movie so, YES!

In other places. I haven't checked out the convos on here but I saw this news blasted across my Facebook wall and Tumblr and a lot of people had the same response members have voiced in this very thread but some people, hahahaha, almost seem disgusted/disturbed at this news.

If someone doesn't want to buy it, that's totally fine, totally cool opinion to have. No reason to rain on everyone elses parade though. More sentai is always good to me.

Finally ZO get his own Figuart. Now we need J and the Showa line up is complete.

there is still a few issues with Sentai figuarts.

ToQ-1 still doesn't have a listing. Current running Sentai normally go up in May/June and come out in September/October.

In all honesty I think Bandai is sick of more recent series stuff/Stuff they were doing for USA fans not selling well so they are taking the Rider approach of capitalizing on nostalgia.

I'm not gonna complain! I love Sun Vulcan! buuuuut..since VulPanther's actor is currently getting charged for sexual acts with underage women we might not see him any time soon >.>;;;;;;;;

also yay ZO! can't wait for J and Kiva so that all my main riders are finished and I can stop collecting :P

ZO was one of the first Rider things I've seen so I'm very excited for this release. He looks fantastic!

I see it as a joyous occasion too, more Sentai is always a good thing.

It's surprising the negative things people can come up with!

Sun Vulcan isn't one of my favorite Sentai shows, but the Showa era costume is really going to make him stand-out in my collection which is full of mostly characters that can be related to Power Rangers. Always cool to mix things up and have old-school with newer era Rangers.
