Whether or not you like JDF as a person (personally, I don't care either way though I will say I tend to lean more Team ASJ), I think it's nice seeing a legendary ranger in action.

Saban are fans of the Amazing Spider-Man I see.

Clearly Amazing Spider-Man just stole that scene from Saban's genius!

Okay, that was actually cool expect for the bits where the kid was trying to act (yet somehow still doing a better job than at least two-thirds of the Neo Saban Rangers).

We knew about this for a while though. There was a green screen photo of JDF passing Saba in through a broken car window.

I'd normally agree, but then I listened to the kid again.

Am I the only one who finds it kinda weird/funny how JDF just literally reaches off-screen and suddenly has Saba?

Look I like Tommy but that scene of him landing on the car was stupid especially since he was unmorphed and the kid sounded bored instead of scared.

But then again PR isn't known for good acting.

So...okay. Why is Tommy unmorphed when he falls from the sky? Why does an image of his helmet appear briefly around his head?

So many questions of which Gosei would simply say... "There's a simple explanation for that..."

To show which legendary ranger he is. Having the suit flash over the character is something directly lifted from Gokaiger.

You say that like it isn't how all ranger equipment ever seems to work.

It would be cool if they had helmets of all his Rangers flash over his face.

Yeah, that's what bugged me too. He's holding the blade.

Not that it makes it any more excusable, but Saba is mostly blade. There isn't much surface area he could grip to extend to the kid (phrasing) that wouldn't realistically result in at least one of them getting cut.

This is really a situation where the Brachio Staff would have been a better choice, but that would require acknowledgement of a Disney season.

That's even worse! It has a cutting edge on both sides!

I'd really love it if they just went all out with him switching between Ranger forms as needed throughout the finale. We already know he gives the Green Samurai Ranger the Dragon Shield, that'd be a prime opportunity for him to switch to Zeo, Turbo, or even Dino forms.

Sadly, it most probably won't happen.
