The tire changes based on whatever Shift Car is used with the Driver.

Oh lordy, that looks dumb.

But then, so did the fruit armor in Gaim and that turned out well in the end.

So will thr toys be able to switch tires or will have to buy a new fugure each time? More than likey the first one but you never know.

So the tire changes?

That's... really lame. It's such an insubstancial change. He doesn't even get a new weapon. He doesn't even get a new helmet. Arms change actually felt like a change. This is dumb.

You have been spoiled by the fancy CG stuff.
Who needs the form change when the entire body becomes different weapons.

This just means that i will save money when it comes to alternate suits and me wanting their action figure. The base suit is good enough for me!

Has nothing to do with "fancy CG" the differences are paltry compared to the real-world physical suit differences in Gaim.

Also, the weapons aren't really different. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that all the tires spin as the primary method of attack.

Focus on the positive, and it'll all end good in the end.

I really dig the base suit so far, something about it just does it for me.

So, did anybody notice that as the types changed, so did the image on the belt? That's kinda cool, especially when we get to legend shift cars.

The more I look at this, the more the design reminds me of Gobusters fused with Ichigo, fused with Beast.

I wonder if any of those cars are named Turbo.. because then he could shift with it.

And Shift into Turbo.

And kick into overdrive.

Guys, you do realize the tire changes act like Fourze's astro switches, right? They're meant to grant him new abilities, not new forms.

If they did grant him new forms, they'd blow the budget like nuts if the toy listings are any indication of how many tire types Drive can use.

I don't know. This looks kind of....tired to me.

And you're all forgetting how he could get in gear.

Something about this series seems...shifty.

I get what you mean, especially since we have Type Wild & Technic which I believe are full forms, & if they are, so many people will be happy.
