How would you improve Kiva?
 

If you were to do something about Kiva, what would you do?

Ex

- either remove Shizuka or make her a witch to help Wararu and Kivat

- make Wataru a skilled fighter. He can have two personalities: fun allergic side and a vampiric serious side.

- instead of Checkmate Four, how about five? One however joins Kiva.

- make Megumi the first to know Kiva's identity, not Nago!

Wataru IS a skilled fighter. Every time he henshins his personality changes drastically to that of a competent badass. And more so towards the end of the show.

The only thing I'd do different is get ready of Wataru's moron friend Kengo. Could not stand that guy.

But that's exactly what he had. I always thought of Kiva being his inner-strength, his Fangire, coming out. That's why it was also so wild. And Emperor was him realizing his power and becoming one with it.

The sole thing I'd change is either drop ideas from the story, or use them more than once. That series teased so much. Like the FakeFuestles.

Introduce Dark Kiva early on or make his presence more known in the time he showed up, Dark is agurably the reason the present day organization is so antagonistic towards Kiva, despie the fact that King's actions were mostly in his fangire form and Kivat II proved to be a trustworthy ally.

Also someone rewrite everything from episode 30 and onwards, please.

I liked Kengo. Gave Nago more of an arc rather than making him a set piece to bail Wataru out/Get bailed out by Wataru (Post Emperor).

I'd also alter Wataru's personality entirely. It completely ruined my suspension of disbelief that Wataru and Kiva were the same person due to the massive shift in action and mentality once he transformed.

Wouldn't be better if Wataru had his father's journal about his battles against the danglers instead of showing both the present and past? I mean the past should be flashbacks and sihlloutes.

Burn it to the ground and pee on the ashes.

I would make it halfway watchable, at least.

The only thing I would get rid of would be the time traveling aspect. I don't mean the scenes from the 80s, I mean the fact that characters can travel through time to stop things from happening in the 80s. That is my leave favorite aspect of Kiva.

Make Kiva female*hey it would fulfill two of my desires at the same time: a female lead Rider and the Mio love triangle wouldn't exist.:p*

Make Nago more sympathetic/heroic in the beginning and less of a self righteous prick. In-fact have the reason he became Ixa be because Otoya saved him as a child and he wanted to be like him and have him be Kiva's love interest.

Have Taiga be an actual antagonist to the end: due to being raised by Bishop.

The BSO isn't antagonistic towards Kiva but supportive*as they aren't dumb as bricks and actually recognize that this Kiva is Otoya's kid* But have contingency plans*such as Ixa's fake fuestles* to deal with her in case she goes rogue/batshit insane.


Have where Maya dies trying to reclaim Taiga from Bishop before the series instead of abandoning her children.

Kiva doesn't travel through time ever.

I would improve kiva by making dark kiva come in earlier than he did

I would have brought in the Riders from the movie into the series. More usage of Jiro, Bassha, and Dogga (I forget their names). Not have that depressive Wataru at the end, Built up the relationship of Nago and Megumi. Also answer a lot of the questions we didn't get answers too.

Atleast it was better than Agito in that respect. It eventually began to blur the lines between Kiva and Wataru.
Agito was a flawless badass and Souichi was a clumsy goofball from start to finish.

I actually think both Kiva and Agito had incredible development throughout their series. Wataru grew up as the series progressed.

I have to agree, those two are some of my favorite riders from how much they developed.

How about removing those fake fuestles IXA and use other monsters that were not seen on the show?

Like a mummy? a zombie? any other monster!

Make a Knight for the Checkmates! And make King its leader. Didn't like the idea of Saga based on the King. Perhaps Kengo should've been the Knight instead.

As for Wataru... give his personality like a weak helpless person with a Batman/Spawn persona.

Have there be more monsters that Wataru seals away in order to gain new form/weapons.

Scrap Saga and just put Dark Kiva in, as well as a few other Kivas (previous Kings?)
