I really do need to watch that series...

Gaoranger is my favourite super sentai ever dude:P

It was the first Sentai series I ever watched, so it does have a special place in my heart. It s a pretty good show. I love the Loki arc and both Yabaiba and TsuTsu are good villains. I like how the generals are the eyes, ears and a nose, and mouths of the main villain.

I like both Gaoranger and Wild Force. Both were pretty good shows in my opinion.

I'm a bit hesitant to watch it because I hate how the mechs are all CGI

Well, doesn't the robot itself have a physical model?

It does. The CGI is mostly used for the single animals and Gattai scenes. Some finishers also use CGI, but usually, the combined mecha do have physical models.

I loved it circa 2001 because:

- SO MANY POWER ANIMALS
- OP theme
- Our first 21st century Super Sentai team
- Kakuranger palette!
- Cellphone transformation device
- Yabaiba and Tsue Tsue, the Skinner and Krabappel of Super Sentai

I love the Hell out of the Gaoranger Mecha. Even if it did start the trend of having a million mecha and combinations of Mecha in every Sentai show.

GaoHunter and GaoIcarus are two of my favorite Mechas ever!
