Courtesy of Rangercrew Once again they've dug these up from the TRU server.

Based on the suit designs of the Original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers movie, the assortment will contain 5 rangers (red, blue, yellow, black, pink) and Ivan Ooze which has yet to be pictured. No word on a White Ranger release but it's almost guaranteed.

I for one am RIDICULOUSLY excited for these. The Movie designs are some of my favorite original concepts from Power Rangers ever.

I'm excited for these but.. What the heck are those weapons? They look like coke bottles with a handle.

I feel kind of nostalgic for these. :p May actually pick them up.

I am going to drybrush and panel line the shit out of of those.

Unused versions of the Power Blasters from the looks of it.

Oh man, they are beautiful. This has me pretty damn excited now as I hadn't even heard that they were being released.

Its a shame they couldn't have found a way to do switchable coins on these releases. The Ninja coins might have seemed like the obvious route but I guess they went with the Dinos because the actual fight footage is prior to them losing their powers (as all the later suit stuff is in the zords).

I need those so bad, despite the quality of the movie it is one of my most vivid memory of my childhood. (My mom had her purse stolen the night I was supposed to get in on rental on VHS, when I had chicken pox ><)

i hate being that guy but why no white ranger? i just hate that they only did 5 rangers. its not as if he was only in the last fight scene. just feels like an incomplete team to me.

Leave out one of their flagship characters? Don't be ridiculous. He'll pop up soon enough. He always does.

Could this mean a BluRay release of the original movie is coming?

I think this is highly possible either really soon or when the lionsgate one drops. that said I hope the at least try to remaster the megazord cause if memory serves well even back then it looked kinda weird for some reason.

It's surprising they actually went into detail and made these guys at all honestly. I thought maybe they'd do a cheap repaint of the regular Legcay Ranger figures, but I see new sculpting all around, including the helmets.

Plus Kimberly comes with that whip weapon from the movie.

These look good! I've always thought the movie suits were really cool designs. I can't wait to see Ivan Ooze, hopefully he turns out well too.

Well I can see fox doing this so kids have to watch if they can't see the new movie. Cause fox still own the right to first to films. And on the site blu-ray.com I found in a search the original movie and turbo movie on blu ray coming soon

Now I want to buy an S.H. Figuarts Black Ranger so that I can give this Black Ranger a Power Axe.

Both also have nothing in the news section for them either.

There is also strangely a no release date article for MMPR Season 1 on there... which I'm fairly certain wasn't there before. That's a bit strange.

Though, I wonder if there will be interchangable helmets for those who had different modes. That'd be nice.

We're going to get each of their blasters and likely their personal weapons. Though if memory serves only Pink's Thunder Whip, Blue's Stega Stinger, and White's Saba were ever shown in the film itself. So there may not be any sort of weapon included with the others. But in any case the extra heads for the various other modes probably won't happen either sadly.

It'd be great, considering what the prospective price point may be. But the new, unique molds are fantastic enough on their own, that there really is no make-or-break point for me.

Well if they were really going to pimp these out (which they should be, since we've waited YEARS for these things) it should go Thunder Whip for Pink, Stega Stinger for Blue, Saba for White, Powerscope helmet for Red and Powerbeam helmet for Yellow. That would sadly leave Black without a unique accessory, but covers all bases nicely otherwise.

Rather than including the alternate helmets, and with an absence of other unique weapons, I could see the standard Power Weapons from the other Legacy figs being included. Albeit repainted. It seems like the cheap alternative I expect from BOA. But given the figures themselves FINALLY exist I can forgive.

I'll likely just get that S.H. Figuarts Black Ranger and give it the Power Axe. lol

I feel the same. Honestly I thought these looked like crap until I realized thats how little white they actually had on them.

We all know White will come soon. Of course he will. They cant miss the opportunity.

Really? Complaints all across the board because we keep getting repaints and terrible paint applications. Suddenly, we get a new mold, something that fans have been asking for 20 years to get, and suddenly it's not good enough?

Honestly? I haven't been this excited for a BoA product since the original Zeo toys. I'm completely over the moon about these finally being made.

If it seems like Im complainin, Im not really. Im just not that excited for them. Sure original molds, but aside from that, its MMPR. Im tired of it.

Both of these things. I've waited almost 20 years for real Movie figures to be made. And as terrible as I find the BOA 5" figures, which seriously are awful toys, this is the most unique thing BOA has ever done. Will buy the lot of them and Ivan AND the Legacy Movie Morpher. All in on original movie merch.

I think they look nice. I do hope they all get their normal power weapons.

I see no problem with the figures. I personally think they look a lot better than most of the recent ones, to be perfectly honest. As for their weapons I don't really bother with the assesories anyways so that isn't a big issue. The price is a little bit high, but I'll take it for what it is.

While the movie suit designs have always gathered mixed opinions, I can't be the only one who's always thought that the MMPR movie suits felt like S.I.C. interpretations of the regular Zyuranger suits...
