Are you ready for Gaim to end?
 

So I was listening to the latest (emphasis on "late") episode of HJU Radio and the topic of Drive's start and Gaim's end came up. Most of the hosts seemed actually glad to see Gaim ending, either because it felt like the story is naturally drawing to a close or because they're just ready for a change of pace from the constant tension. Personally, I found myself agreeing; Gaim has been great, but after months of apocalypyse and constant betrayals I'm ready to shift gears (pun intended) and have some episodic fun with Rider Cop.

But what about the rest of you? Are you ready for the new show to start up or do you want to keep on fruiting?

I am ready for Gaim to end. I also listened to that HJU radio episode and I agree. After having the show be in endgame mode for half the show, its time for a change of pace and characters. The story is done.

If it didn't end, I cant stand to watch Gaim forever, its just not formatted like that. It had a conflict and arcs and its over with. Keith Justice brought up how he would have liked W to go on forever and I can see that with W, with the cases and whatnot. But not Gaim.

Yes. All good things must end, and I'm happy that Gaim is still a great show that wasn’t ruined trough the initial ending.

There needs to be a third option. I'm ready for Drive but I also don't want Gaim to end.

I want drive to come but I am going to miss gaim a lot.

Yea I've been ready like 6 episodes ago, can't wait for Drive.

I don't want it to end but it has to in order to bring in Drive. Every end has a beginning and every beginning has an end.

As much as I've liked Gaim, I'm ready for it to end. The story's finished and I don't feel like it needs to go on, it's pretty much wrapped everything up. I'll certainly miss it, but I'm excited for Drive!

This. The only way to make a good story bad is to drag it out.

On the one hand, Kouta's story is over. The war's over, the threat is gone, the Beat Riders are dancing again. Life in Zawame City continues, although the future is uncertain; as it always is, and should be.

I'm ready like, 4 or 5 episodes before. Gaim's a great show, but everything must end.

I'm ok with Gaim ending. It has it's legacy now of being one of if not the best rider series around. Why drag it on?

It ended great and tied everything up. Time to go for a Drive!

I can't vote because neither choice goes with my feelings. I am ready for Gaim to end, not because I am tired of it or I want Drive, but because all great things need to have an ending or they will get stale. Gaim needs to end before Toei can drop the ball on it.

Agreed. Better to end now than be stretched out to the point where it's no longer the Gaim we all knew and loved.

Yes, I'm ready for Gaim to end. I've seen far to many great shows without endings, so of course I want Gaim to come to it's close. That said, I wouldn't turn down some Returns movies.

As for Drive, I'm not ready for it. I have mixed feeling about Drive and I'm not excited about the prospect of returning to that blasted formula that turned me off of Kamen Rider to begin with.

Durian this series, I’ve come to view it as a real peach. It went from cherry and upbeat to dark and serious. I’ve watch a mango through the various stages of the heroes journey and become one of the best examples.

It leaves me pineapple-ing for more and I hope the next series doesn’t fall far from the tree.

To be honest, I would love a series that continued on of Gaim, that involved Kaito coming back, and Kouta staying away on his planet. Also heavily featuring the Kureshima Bros., Zack, Jonouchi, and Oren.

I'd settle for a web series that shows how all the surviving characters are holding up after the series ends.

Oren, Jounuichi, and Zack holding the fort as Zawame's defenders.

Takatora and Micchy travelling and going after Yggdrasil remnants.

The Beat Riders still dancing.

Kouta and Mai working to build and guide their new world.

Kaito... Needs to stay dead. Much as I enjoyed him, I'd rather not see his fall cheapened. He went out as he would have wanted, I'm not sure that a resurrection would be doing him any favors.
