Drive Tire Koukan Figure Gimmick Previewed
 

Much like with Arms Change, Figuroh has a preview of Drive's gimmick figure for us, the figure is going to split apart like the OOO combo change:

I wonder if each extra tire will come with a Drive figure or if they'll do multi-packs. I hope it's not the former, that'd be a lot of nearly identical figures.

If I recall correctly, I think 'most' of the tires will be packed with the corresponding shift car. At least that's the way I interpreted the scans, I may be wrong.

So snapping the figure together activates the tire's gimmick? That's cool, along with all the 3-way mix'n'match potential.

Gimmicks aside; I'm a big fan of the base figure's look, too!

I'm not as excited for the Drive figures as I was for the Arms Change figures. Doesn't feel like there's enough variety in wheels as there was with fruit.

I'll reserve judgement, but that doesn't look like it has the same playability or fun as Gaim.

The gimmick being simpler means the figure looks more accurate, and pretty fun too.

I think that the figure looks remarkable but the gimmick on the other hand could be better. I wish that they could make the tire snap on and off drive to make it similar to the show

Gimmick looks alright, but yeah, kinda disappointing after Arms Change. I think it's a combination of not having many options with tires as the main armor swap and the tires themselves not being as big a part of the overall design as the fruit armor.

More Drive puns..haha. But really. It's kinda less enjoyable as the Arms Change that Gaim had.

I'm really not feeling this one. The car itself is nice, but the gimmick figures... Not doing anything for me. I might pick up Drive until the SHF is released, but reds aren't very high on my priority list.

The gimmick isn't as impressive as Arms Change, but the figure itself looks great. Hopefully the gimmick will end up being fun in hand.

That's about how I'm starting to feel. The figure itself is beautiful, but the gimmick. I don't know. I do like the tires work on trideron.

Though, the way you split him in half for the gimmick reminds me of a Mortal Kombat fatality.

Yeah, that's a cool feature. Although I already said I'm not terribly excited by the gimmick, I do think that the addition of Trideron is going to add more playability and fun to it.
