Oh Hase... I do so wonder if Junoichi will ever know your true fate. Seeing him add a picture of Hase to the board of missing people was just so sad. :(

And oh yeah Zack. Zack was indeed a total bro.

In the end though Hase inspired one of the best got damn soldiers ever: Kurokage Trooper #37

Hase was the inspiration and Kurokage trooper #37 became the legend.

I just realized that sounded like a tagline for a movie. :lol

#37 deserves his own movie.

Kurokage...that name bears so much pain. The loss of Hase-chan, the suffering in the lives of the Kurokage Troopers (ESPECIALLY the courageous #37! :cry), and the turmoil Jonouchi will face either learning of Hase's demise or vainly hoping he will be found.

I take off my hat to the Matsubokkuri Lockseed and all its wielders. May you all find peace.

I love that the death of Hase really changed the entire show. It was at that moment that the show went from goofy fun with some serious notes to a serious show with some funny parts. The end of the episode or two prior, when they first get back from Helheim, and Kouta gives a monologue - who knew at that time how profound that little bit would be about growing up and the pain they'd have to suffer?

I was fine watching the finale of Gaim. Usually when a series ends I tear up more than once, but not this time. And then Junoichi puts that picture up on the wall outside Yggdrassill tower.. And yea, I lost it. And then Zack! Giving himself to try and stop Kaito from being all Evil. And only killing Yoko >_< ... I am going to miss this show.

The Nut themed characters were really something special. I would have liked to see more from Jonouchi over the course of the show but oh well atleast the scenes he got were all pretty darn awesome.
Hase was also a very cool character that worked well together with Junouchi and became extremely likeable right before his death (I wonder why). I´m still kinda sad though that his suit would then go on to be mass produced for the Kurokage Trooper to use.

Out of all three though Zack is by far my favorite. That guy is just a Bro and has his heart in the right place. I was fine with his death even though the scene itself was kinda rushed but I was still glad when we saw that he survived his encounter with Kaito. Knuckle was a really cool and unique design too.

Hase is ridiculously overrated.

100% agreed. He was around for a handful of episodes and solely existed to advance the plot to "oh shit peeps can die". There literally isn't enough of him in the show to validate, in my opinion, the love I see for the character.

While we didn't get to see much of him, the stuff we did see was pretty sweet. He was the fighter, the trainer, the one not afraid to go up against anyone. You have to remember, when Gaim (and Ryugen till he discovered his identity) were afraid to go up against Zangetsu, and Bravo was too busy fawning, Kurokage was the one fighting him and, when Zangetsu tried to disengage, chased after him to continue the fight.

I can only imagine how strong Kurokage would have tried to become if he hadn't died. He had limitless potential and Jonouchi was a great sidekick to his eagerness to fight.

Hase, why did you have to be like Kaito?

He was victim of the early Gaim hype machine with "ERMYGRD GAIM HAS DEATHS? POST-DECADE RIDER HAS NEVER HAD ANYDEATH, SO MATURE AND DARK GO UROBOCHI!"

Didn't W and wizard have deaths? :eyebrow

Speaking of Hase, do you think that his SHF release will include a mass production driver, too? Like, for troop building.

They did. And that exactly proves my point about the overhypers brushing aside the facts about Rider since W to put Gaim on their "untouchable" pedestal.

Or you know, people actually liked the character regardless of him dying.

That's actually the reason why I skipped on the intital release just in case Bandai decides to release Troop builder packs.

Zack and Jonouchi were my favorite characters in Gaim and I absolutely love them they are totally badass and they had some of the best character development in the series from jackasses to heroes.

But, are the mass-produced Sengoku Drivers really weaker then the prototypes? Never heard about that in the show. I always thought its about the lockseed and the person using them.

And Jonouchi will transform into a „Kurokage Trooper“? Why? Even if he uses a new (mass-produced) belt and a Matsubokkuri lockseed, he's still Kamen Rider Gridon/Kurokage, not a trooper.

Technically they should do the Gridon suit with Matsubokkuri arms even, but I think he will just look like the original Kurokage because of the new belt.

If I remember correctly, the Lockseed got destroyed but not his sengoku driver. The driver was still intact.

Knuckle doesn't count. Yes, Gridon and Knuckle are both nuts, but the character interaction Hase and Jyonouchi shared is not there. Trio denied. However, I will say that Knuckle is the successor nut. :D

At one of the events they showed like 3 Kurokage Troopers together. So we may get a multi pack one day.

I loved Hase and Jonouchi's tag. It was so good. I really wish they had a longer time together. :( And I wish Gridon had more appearances as well.
