Gashapon, how you can tell is by the lock bit and the design of the "curves" at the front of the lock.

Shame they're not DX, but these special sets are always gashapon so it's to be expected. Fine by me though, makes the cost much easier to deal with!

The thing about that is those aren't really necessary. All of the heisei riders already got locks in one form or another. Showa only had 2 released, Rider1 and Black RX, so that's the reasoning for the Showa set. The only reason to buy a Heisei set would be if they came with unique sounds, but idk how likely that is.

The easiest way to tell is simply if there's a nub at the bottom. Fun fact, you can see them use non DX locks on the show. Spot the nubs.

I wouldn't put it passed Bandai to release them again in one big box set as our only way of getting a Drive Lock Seed.

Please don't say that. I hope that doesn't happen. But then that would be kinda neat, because several of the Heisei seeds were Candy only. And I like clear plastic. So I'd just get rid of my existing set in favor of the premium one.

Also we still need a Black Apple Lockseed.

I personally think the Lock Seeds are going to be the new Ranger Keys. If they do another Sentai tasien movie or a Ultraman crossover then I can see Sentai lockseeds or lock seeds on another franchise if we get a third crossover throw into the mix in another Taisen film.

I kinda want these, but they arent DX and I don feel like spending any more money. :lol Now Gaim I do want out of the set. Anyone wanna split?

I'm at least glad they're sticking with Gachapon, because I have a problem and I'd buy them no matter what they were, and I've already sunk more money into this series then I'd like to admit.

Oh my goodness these Lock Seeds are gorgeous, then again, I say that for almost all new things we get. :D

So then the other reasonable option is Heisei Second Riders. We only got Beast and Meteor out of them.

You had me up until you said you wanted Gaim. If I were to split a set, I'd be keeping that one and Baron. I will take them to my grave if I have to.

Oh man, these look really neat- not quite sure yet if they look neat enough to shell out for, especially with import tax...
What I do want to see is the four main riders in their respective Rider Arms, just for the sheer ridiculousness :lol

Worth it just to see them run around inside their own giant heads. Takatora thought Fourze was humiliating... wait, would they do impressions of themselves? Hmm.

I really want the Ryugen one (I'm so happy I can say this again), and the Baron and Zangetsu ones too. They all look so awesome and pretty.

So their rider kicks are called:

Burai Kick
Cavalry End
Ryugenkyaku
Mujin Kick

That just sounds like seven kinds of awesome.
