Kamen Rider & Kaijin Motifs/Themes
 

Since Drive has just started, been wondering what motifs KR can do next right after Drive.

a) Motifs that KR hasn't done yet...
b) Motifs that KR can take from Sentai
and
c) Motifs that KR has done before and can be used again

Also forgot about Kaijins as well.

TRAINS, that is all :lol.

Trains are already used in Den-O.

How about a monster theme again. Make up for it since Kiva.

Anything goes as long as it's done well, Gaim is the proof...

Carnival Ride theme! The bike will be a Merry-Go-around Horse spliced with a Kawasaki!

What about the kaijins?

Oh! And if a ninja rider would be added, perhaps the oni would be its enemy with an army of yokai. Of course the yokai can also be the ninja rider's motif.

A rider that uses keys like gokaiger did or a rider that is solely based on dinosaurs

I was going to say a Dino themed rider, too. In fact, I'm surprised they haven't done that yet.

Dinosaur Rider...Hmm, as long as the main character isn't a T-Rex, I'd be down for it~

Oh yeah, but a rider that had forms only for dinosaurs would be cool

A raptor rider would be pretty cool, I can't deny~

I'd be so down for a raptor rider.

Those are raptor riding rangers, not a raptor rider riding a raptor.

If they do a dinosaur rider, do something to make it like a mix of... Tarzan & the Hulk.

And its secondary rider should be prehistoric ice age beasts.

Could be something like Kamen Rider Slash (any better ideas?)

Each of his mode changes (like arms or wheels) are different dinos, and maybe each of his different season upgrades are the names of the ancient time periods? Like his first form is "Triassic" second "Jurassic" third "Cretaceous" and final form "Mesozoic."

The kaijin can be a play on fossils and have a very skeletal aesthetic, maybe?

What would the collectible be? The driver?

So far the ones I've used and are planning to use in my fanworks are:

Videogames (Virtune)
Art (Shade)
Weather ( Stratos)
Opera
Lovecraft
Aliens
Ancient Artifacts / Archeology
Monster Summoning (ala persona)
Gambling (slot machines/cards/etc)

Somewhere in the future I know toei will use at least one of these

All this talk about trains, bikes, and automobiles... you people are so boring, confined to your pathetic dry, solid ground.

We need a Jet Rider. And/or a maritime rider.

what about a rocket....wait they already did that :)
As for maritime rider .... we still have Aqua

He's still 37 years in the future, he doesn't count.

While Drive is all about cars and motorcycles.

How about for the next themes...
1) Jets & birds + bats
2) Pirates + Aquatic Mammals + Fishes

What about disks? Can those work?

How about gods?
Kamen Rider Izanagi, KR Quetzacoatl, and KR Anubis~

But we already have an Odin.

It wasn't enough.

This is like saying we can't do a knight theme because of Knight, or dragons are forever off the table because of Wizard.

It was a joke dude.

But it kind of leaves Odin and Poseidon off the table. Though I guess they could easily get around it by calling them Allfather and Neptune.

There are dozens of pantheons, the only one that runs any risk of overlap is Poseidon, and there's a sea/ocean god in damn near all of them to take his spot, anyway~

Odin is fairly specific, so we don't need to use him~

Matrix just wants to see a Female Kamen Rider Athena happen.

First off I'm quoting you in my sig. Second, a water themed Rider can and should work. Drive has his awesome car; surely a Kamen rider with a boat or a jetski will make for a cool show.

Perhaps tiny robotic marine life that does science thingys as the collectibles. They could be used to give water Rider new forms and powers.

Maybe it could even be a spinoff show about Aqua.

Fund it.

Would've been cool if Drive had a jet-plane type of rider.

But oh well... it looks like that concept will be given to a bird rider.
