I had heard from many people that Mix and Morph was a thing with 2010 and then disappeared.

I've never heard of this before.

Ah Mix and Morph. It was always a bit of an oddity back in 2010. Let's see how it fares now.

Oh god not these again. These things were awful a few years ago when the MMPR re-version was out. They're just terrible toys.

Can someone explain to how what Mix and Morph were? I never follow the 2010 MMPR toy line.

They were small figures, about the size of a Super Megaforce Ranger Key, which split up into five pieces: the heads, the two arms, the chest, and the legs. The gimmick was that you mix and match parts to create your own Ranger or Zord or whatever. You were supposed to buy the base thing to take them apart and put plop out the new ones.
As far as I recall, they were sold in two-packs of the Red Ranger and the Megazord, and they were pretty pricey for what you got. If Dino Charge follows the same model, I can't see these doing any better.

EDIT: Actually, they worked exactly like the video losondro posted, except the Power Rangers base was even more primitive. The mold that Legacy Titanus was based off of was also released as a base, and I remember it had some horrible gimmick where you would put in a couple of limbs and your Ranger would pop out from the back as it rolled along the ground. Lots of clicking gears and missed connections, as far as I remember.

Basically like the video above except replace the aliens with rangers and Megazords.

I hope they don't shoehorn it into this year's Brachiosaurus. Or any other DC toys that I might actually go after.

Next year's brachiosaurus. Bragigas will be a Dino Supercharge (Fall 2016) toy.

Bandai did not rape Titanus, unless someone in shipping and receiving had their way with a product sample. I wish people would stop using that word.

The use of the term rape in relation to trivial matters like toys has not been tolerated in the past and that will continue to be so. Cut it out and talk like adults Mugenlazlo. That's an entirely unnecessary tone, and ridiculous type of hyperbolic way to have a discussion over a toy.

Kids will like them, but collectors will not. The Mix And Morph series reminds me of Hasbro's Hero Mashers toys.
