Why didn't he spin the thing?

obviously he has not seen kyoryuger.

He said on twitter that the barrel only spins when the trigger is pulled.

Why did he not show the box to the morpher? Every one has showen the box art but him.

he probably rushed to make the video so that he can get 1st sighting credit and the box was not on his mind. Im sure the people who make proper toy reviews will show it when they start finding it. :)

Why must they insist on putting in those generic stock voice clips? It sounded great until "ENERGIZE!"

Maybe I'm being too hard on it, but that is no bueno.

I'm not feeling the sounds at all at the moment.

Well at least it looks less knockoffy than the Gokai Gun but at the same time it ain't the same without the Samba music.

I was honestly hoping in the back of my head it'd use the Samba music, but I suppose that was a long-shot.

Oh, man though, those voices. It's like, Bandai America did really good with Megaforce, and then really good with Super Megaforce (undermined a bit by the show not using the sounds), and then we have this, which has all the sounds it needs to be cool, but then feels the need to add on a stupid generic voice.

Is this just something that tests well with focus groups or something? Because even at 7 years old role-play toys that spouted things you should be saying were a real pet-peeve for me.

Seeing that video makes me so glad I went with the Japanese version to fit as my representation of the morpher. The Amercian one looks like a joke compared to it, also they seemed to even skimp out on black paint aps on the top of the gun too.

What's funny is that those generic noises makes it feel even more so like a knock off toy gun to me.

Hey, it's okay for what it is - like a $24.99 version of the Gaburevolver. I'll take it. Was anyone really expecting something close to the Gaburevolver? I mean, seriously.

Well, I am exaggerating my reaction on purpose.

It looks fine, functions fine, and sounds fine...UNTIL that bizzare Ranger voice ruins everything.

Unless it turns out that the Morpher has two voices in the show, I will skip it.

I eagerly await the day when someone does a review directly in the toy store before they've even paid for it so that they can be 'the furst'.

I can handle it being 'Energize' because that's so Trek. As long as they're not saying the words 'super', 'mega', or 'ultra', I'm okay. It's like a nervous tick. When I hear those words, I reach out for the nearest individual within slapping range.

For the record, I actually think it's a pretty cool morpher too. It's got a bunch of sounds and doesn't lose a single important feature of the Gaburevolver, unless you really liked that second battery slot.

It's just not for me, unless the morpher in the show actually shouts "Dino Charge Red Ranger!" in that derpy voice, in which case I'll probably pick this thing up for its sheer audacity.
