I'm glad they decided to keep the gimmick for the Figuart. It's not as difficult as trying to make it work with something like Gaim or OOO. Very happy with how it looks to. Especially Trideron. I need that Knight Rider.

I'm so excited about Drive. I was tempted by the TK line, but it looks like this will be plenty fun. Yup, I'm all in- I'm in gear!

It cant be surprising. They've done this before. Fourze had the Module sets, Beast had the Cape set.

You say that but look at Wizard's first run bonus. You can find those now on Mandarake dirt cheap.

I wonder how much compatibility the tires will have between figures? It'll be interesting to see if it's like the Tire Koukan line in that regard or not.

Nice to know Max Flare is a preorder bonus. Will definitely be getting that and can see me possibly springing for Midnight Shadow as well. Funky Spike looks awesome, but I have to draw the line somewhere :p

To clarify: do I have to buy three Drives one each month to get all three special tires?

Or are the latter two effects just effects

So far it seems like they only announced that the Max Flare is the first bonus item for Drive in April, second announcement it coming in December for the other tires and effect parts.

Would anyone b shocked if Bandai made us buy three?

Did I misread it? Each tire is sold separately? They're small accessories you'd expect them to come in a pack.

......That was the sexiest toy commercial I have probably ever seen.

Like if that will ever happen. Shinkocchou SHF tends to be made for Rider renewals (Kuuga and Kabuto) or past Riders like Hibiki. I doubt every Rider will be made into the Shinkocchou line. It would be pointless to renewal every Rider when you can reissue them. For example, The Showa Riders SHF from 2011 expect for the older SHF for Black and Black RX look very close to the show and don't need to be updated. I would hate to see Rider figuarts be like the Ultra Act line where they run out of ideas for new stuff. I say only renewal Riders if they need to be renewal like Kabuto, Kuuga, Agito, W, Decade, and Ichigo from The First/The Next.

Yeah, there really is no need to redo Blade and gang when their figures can not get much better than what they have now.

Definitely pre-ordering this guy, he looks amazing. I don't think I'll be going all in for this line though, I'll just stick with the standard forms. I don't really have any interest in picking up more tires outside of the bonus Max Flare.

I'm not feeling buying three drives, I kinda want to get midnight shadow, so does that mean I have to get it in may?
