I'll have to see his character in action before I form an opinion.

I read another post on here that he's also supposed to be Kiriko's brother. Is that true?

He's apparently Kirikos' brother so I'd love to know why he gets a belt and she doesn't get to become a Rider. She's the best character in the show by far.

Because the show is for boys. And sexism.

Marketing. The secondary rider is a chance for bandai to sell a plethora of brand new toys for this new rider. Unfortunately this line is marketed to mainly young boys, so bandai probably fears that if they made the new rider a woman it could possibly hurt their sales.

I have a feeling that Gaim was only able to get away with Marika because of the fact that she shared a belt(and weaponry) with three other characters, which were all boys. Gaim even used Marika's lock seed, so there was more of an incentive to buy the one toy they put out for her in the main line.

I hope Mach's identity is known to Shinnosuke and Kiriko. He'll be mysterious in the first debut episode until the end of that episode, he reveals his identity to them like Birth did.

Amen. I couldn't stand the pointlessness of keeping Meteor's identity secret. Only to completely throw it out a few episodes later.

I was hoping it would either be Mach or Kiriko herself. But then I remembered it can't be Kiriko because Japan and Kamen Rider and if she got a belt she'd die within three episodes.

No one said they didn't like Meteor. The "his secret identity is really important guys!" thing was terrible though. As it was ultimately pointless.

I was hoping we wouldn't get the out of nowhere Secondary Rider of the Neo-Heisei era but still I loved Birth so I hope Mach is just as good. I am intrigued with him being Kiriko's brother though.

I just want to know the in story reason why Kiriko couldn't be Drive. It reminds me of Mari from Faiz not being able to transform too.

Also do you know that the survive-ability of a female rider is really low in Kamen Rider series, the only female rider to survive so far is only one, Kiva-la

Damn. I was really hoping that Chaser was going to be Mach Signal.

I hope Shinnosuke and Gou will get along. Gou would never replace Hayase on him.

And if Chase keeps hunting down Shinnosuke/Drive, Mach will come to the rescue to protect him while he's on his cases.

Ideally I would have liked Kiriko to be Mach, but of course we all knew that wasn't ever going to happen. I'm glad he's a new character though and not Chaser. I'd rather have him a separate character so we don't have to lose Chaser's great suit!

I think he meant Decade L'arc, who technically never died (I'm not saying survived because she may have been in the Rider War, so who knows.)

You know technically, since time apparently reset at the end of Ryuki, Femme is still alive. Just not as Femme.

Nadeshiko is a shapeshifting blob, barely counted as a female, unless it's a female alien maybe?? which got killed albeit temporarily (turned into switch), so Gentaro have a reason to cry while his friends are maimed by a dragon monsterXD

Yep, i was wrong about Larc & Shuki, my memory failed me... Meaning i probably should watch some series again, eh!! :) ...and i don't remember seeing Larc in Decade, but maybe i'm wrong here too...
But Nadeshiko is pretty alive & kicking in the Wizard/Fourze movie.
