Power Rangers Dino Charge Para Zord Gallery
40 Attachment(s)
Pow-er Ran-gers Pow-er Ran-gers Pow-er Ran-gers!
In a world full of strife there is only one chance to take the right stance - and you can take yours along side the Power Rangers Dino Charge Para Zord, the personal zord of the Dino Charge Black Ranger! The Para Zord, which is short for Parasaurolophus, features articulated dinosaur arms and legs and features a battery-charged blaster that can be unlocked from his trail! Connect it to the Power Rangers Dino Charge Zord Builder utilizing the Zord Builder system and you've got a Megazord that's packing heat - Parasaurolophus (that's as fun to type as it is to say) heat! As is the current gimmick in the new Power Rangers Dino Charge toy line, plugging the battery in to the mouth of the dinosaur will unlock a special play pattern. And, as we've seen with the Power Rangers Dino Charge Megazord zords, that means your dinosaur will attack his foes with his mouth open pretty wide when the battery is inserted - it does not close! But the fact that his "gun mode" looks so awesome will allow you to forget about the gaping mouth on the other side of the zord. There's really not too much to this guy. Battery in, gun out. Battery out, it's still pretty neat. So let's just get to the pro's and con's! THE GOOD!
THE BAD!
OVERALL If you're collecting Power Rangers Dino Charge then this is a figure that should be an easy pick-up, I don't need to sell you on it. If you're not sure you want this, but say you REALLY want the Raptor Zord, grab the one you want first and determine if you think it's worth picking up the other. They're virtually the exact same toy minus paint apps, a couple pieces of molded plastic, and the gimmick (claws versus a gun). Honestly, the shoulder-mounted gun mode makes this figure just perfect for me. |

And more pics!
It's quite awesome that we can access its gun mode right off the bat, rather than using Bragigas. Of course, the lowered stability might be a point in Bragigas's favor.
I have to say, I'm liking these DC Zords more and more.
Got this, plus the Raptor and Megazord. Parasagan is AWESOME.
But yeah, Zakutor takes the cake in sheer awesomeness. This one's a must just because well, it's an herbivore that can kill you dead with it's ass-gun. |
What is it about Megazords/zords in black that just works so well?
Also, the fact that this one is deck-billed dinosaur with as it has been already mentioned..."ass-gun". |
I'm liking that the Auxiliary Zords have a few more paint apps, which obviously I can understand why. Looks great and I can't wait to see the rest!

But when Ankydon, Bunpachy, and Ptreagordon come out they will be MINE! |
I know using the shoulder port on DC Megazord is cool and all, but honestly I think I'll have more fun playing around with that Zord Builder port to make it an arm for other Megazords. I remember seeing a picture of the Q-Rex with Para and Raptor arms that looked pretty awesome.
I'm surprised that they painted the gun, I thought they would have left it black.
I really love the red they use for the gun it really pops out

That shoulder-mounted gun is just epicness, and I love how the gun has red paint apps. I bet that where they stopped including the poor-quality ranger figures with the auxiliary Zords gives them a lot more money to put into the Zord itself, such as paint apps.
He looks good, even if it might lack some paint, he still looks pretty good.
Shame that the box does not mention how the DinoCharge version of Western will be called. |
This one is my favorite
So cool. Can't wait to get one.
Okay, the last picture sold me- I need to do that. Picture 40 is great, that needs to be a poster! lol. Joking aside, I do like the overall quality, this seems more like a parallel step and not a step down. Nice work BoA, but yeah, add more paint apps.
Still peeved that the legs don't fold very well. Also, going to go ahead and call it that Kyoryuzin Western will be called Eastern in Dino Charge.
Yeah, the legs not folding in well is a bummer. But if yourein the school of wanting boa toys to be really close to the Japanese toy, then thsee still seem like a good step forward.
I like how it's mounted on top of the megazord.
Yess! Now bring on the rest of the zords!
with the weight problem, that could probably be solved when the Titano Zord finally appears
So what's the stability issues specifically? Something to worry about if kept in a certain formation for too long? Will the shoulder peg break?
EDIT: Will removing the Charger provide some "less weight?" |

This is a nice figure. Kinda reminds me of the minipla.
I'm really Impressed by these zords. Much improved and no horrible figures.
The Para zord does what it has to do but the way the arms/legs are kind of messes with the aesthetic of the Megazord. Besides that gripe, it's still a good zord.
Huh. Seems like a much, MUCH more practical way of mounting the gun on his shoulder for the final combo. Just add a Zord Builder port! The way the Japanese version did it just felt weird. Almost extraneous.
So I take that the us bragigas won't come with those parts they used in the Japanese version for gigant kyoryujin??
man, i need to show up in my town already. also great pics kickback. *spam*
Huh. That looks surprisingly nice. The arm mode is a bit long, for my tastes, but I'll live.
I'm more surprised how interested I am in this than I was in Kyoryu's stuff... |
It makes him look all War Machine-ish!
Pretty cool looking, I like the gun-hand it turns into. Can't wait to see the green raptor next!
makes a great looking shoulder weapon though i have the feeling bunpachy will look cooler though still not enough to make me want to get it, have to wait and see how plesio turns out
oh and also . . . PARA BEAM CANNON!!!!!!!!!! |
The more I see these the more I want them and I love Zord builder
The cool thing about this is that you can put para zord on t-rex's shoulder, that ads to the play-factor. And it's great you don't have to buy another toy to do that.
Great galley nevertheless. |
The arms look really long; like gorilla arms. I think it would look cool in pics with the bigger weapons and BoA might have considered this with how huge the feet are, to keep it from falling forward.
I agree with the review that a few extra dollars would be worth better paint apps, but this is easily my favorite of the line thus far.
I have to admit, the gun mode looks pretty cool on the shoulder like that.
The lack of paint is a total bummer on what is otherwise a really good BOA version of Parasagun.
